In the immediate vicinity, there are cross-country ski trails and the biathlon stadium with a roller ski track and ski lift, a toboggan run, MTB trails and hiking trails. You can walk to the Fichtelsee in 20 minutes. Please request a child discount!

Die Lage bietet eine optimale Grundlage für Shopping- und Sightseeingtouren innerhalb von Bayreuth, Fichtelgebirge und Fränkische Schweiz. Sie brauchen also nicht zwingend einen PKW um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden; zumal in Bayreuth ein umfassendes Nahverkehrskonzept per Bus und Bahn existiert, und für Touren ins Umland stehe ich mit meinem PKW (gegen Bezahlung) gern zur Verfügung

My place is spacious and can accommodate up to 7 people. It also has a large balcony with great views of the countryside, to the summit of Schneeberg and Ochsenkopf. It is centrally located to many leisure activities (nature health park, barrier-free cable car to the Ochsenkopf, ski lift, toboggan run, climbing forest). My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups.
