Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Back Bay, Boston

I loved my stay at Leigh's apartment. If anything, it was better than the listing! It's incredibly quiet, cozy, functional, and well-laid out. I also really enjoyed getting to know the South End of Boston while still being close to Back Bay and a major T stop (Back Bay Station). I did manage to set off all of the smoke detectors in my first hour there, making a omelet. User error, and my hosts were very responsive about getting them shut off remotely. However, to future visitors, just be aware that the kitchen is small, the stove is very powerful, and the smoke detectors are very close to the kitchen so you don't make the same mistake. If they'll have me, I'd love to stay again, and I'd recommend it to anyone (I did, in fact -- I had a few friends over to visit and they loved it, too).

Wonderful unit in a great area! The apartment was cozy and plenty spacious for our family of three. The pack and play and high chair provided were WONDERFUL amenities and were in great condition. The bed was very comfortable and the window units kept the place nice and cool. The T is a short walk away to get to any part of the city and we had a short walk to our game at Fenway. Definitely recommend and will be staying here again when we visit!

Great host who understands if you have children and very flexible

This spot is lovely. It is an apartment inside of a really nice apartment building. Check-in is facilitated by a lockbox where you get your key fob, which gives you access to the building and the apartment itself. Some of the communication felt a bit weird (we were asked not to wait in the lobby until check-in time to maintain a "homey feel," which is bizarre because I would think that hanging out in the lobby PROMOTES a "homey feel." The kitchen is well stocked with equipment (plates, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, etc) but nothing to cook with (spices, salt, pepper, oil). Parking is included and there are (paid) electric chargers in the parking garage, which is really great if you have an electric car. The price is definitely on the expensive side.

Such a nice apartment in the best (in my opinion) part of South End. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and so close to Back Bay, Copley Square and lots of great eateries. The backyard is like a secret garden in the middle of the city. Drew is very friendly and helpful with check in/out instructions. We had no issues at all during our stay and would definitely book this gem again!

Super location to explore Boston! The studio apartment was clean and functional. Our host, Beth was responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Jose responded extremely fast to any of our questions and was very friendly. From arrival until the time we left our privacy was respected, and the top half of the house was very quiet. The rental is very clean and dog friendly. This is very close to Boston and has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and we will come back for all of our future trips. This is also very close to the Stoneham zoo.

We had a fantastic stay at Johnny’s place. The house is great - comfortably enough space for a family of 4 and well configured, well-located 5 mins walk from great coffee shops and restaurants in Charlestown and only 20 mins walk from the North End and central Boston. Johnny was extremely accommodating. Highly recommend!

Holly’s home in Boston was lovely for our family in town for a wedding. The space has tons of charm and was very inviting and clean. Thoughtful touches throughout and really appreciated Holly’s prompt responses and flexibility with our travel itineraries. Neighborhood is super cute too. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely stay at the apartment. It is spacious and is in a convenient location about 10 min walk to subway and could easily use public transport to get to points of interest in 15-30 min. Close to several parks/greenspaces and good restaurants. Maria is a very helpful, considerate, and polite host.

Great space and location. Marie was accommodating, lending us her high chair, parking pass, and working with the cleaners to allow us to check in a little early. Would absolutely stay again.

I had a very comfortable stay: the host Jennifer was responsive and friendly. Even though the rental is in the basement of their home it was still very private. Bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Lastly, the neighborhood was nice: I walked to an Indian restaurant for dinner one night and didn’t get back until late and felt very safe the whole time. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in Boston!

Pema and Jonathan are wonderful hosts. This was our second stay at The Nest and we were able to really take advantage of the deck overlooking their beautiful garden and the city beyond, for morning coffee and afternoon snacks. Their place is very spacious and charming. It's walking distance to stores, restaurants and the Gilman Square T-stop. For trips further afield, it's great to have a designated, off-street parking spot right by the entrance to the unit, with motion sensor lights for nighttime arrivals. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable, with reading lights on both sides of the bed. Highly recommend.

Very clean with a zen aesthetic, making for an incredibly peaceful stay. The 3rd floor space is newly renovated in a beautifully maintained classic Boston home. All the amenities you could need and in a great location for us. Easy to park on the street and an easy commute into Boston on public transportation. Xin was super communicative. Highly recommend!

This was such a charming place in a wonderful location. Griffin and Carolyn were responsive and took really good care of us. They are great hosts who we highly recommend and would book with again!

Dan's place is equidistant to Harvard and MIT, a short walk to great restaurants and cafes, and a wonderful base for exploring Cambridge. Would happily stay here again with my family.

This was the perfect location to enjoy the South End, and an easy walk everywhere (Copley, Prudential, Newbury Street). The place was comfortable and had everything we needed especially the fireplace on very cold May days. Leslie was incredibly responsive even on her special celebration weekend!!

My wife and I absolutely love this apartment with city view rooftop. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to restaurants. It has artistic decorations. Kitchen is clean and well stocked. The classic record player and record collection are fabulous. Listening to 70s, 80s music with morning sunshine from skylight and coffee beautiful. And we had a breakfast on the roof top, you can’t beat the view. And Chandra provided all the institutions and local tips before we arrive. We enjoyed everything in the apartment.

We had a great stay. The home is nicely remodeled, with high-end appliances and fixtures. Had everything we could want for our stay. Hosts were responsive, and checked in on us earlier in our stay to see how things were going, which is always a nice touch. Would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful, our hosts were communicative, and I would be more than happy to return. The unit was immaculately cleaned upon our arrival. The living room and kitchen are incredibly spacious - more so than I would have thought from the pictures. The outdoor spaces provide nice fresh air, and everything else is as advertised. But, sometimes, it's the little things that make an AirBnB. I took time each day to recover with a nice sauna. They have the things that hosts normally don't provide but everyone needs - aluminum foil, saran wrap, ziploc baggies, extra blankets, extra towels, and more. The shower that I used was great. Good water pressure. Good HVAC and water temp. Great natural light. Keyless entry, meaning no "who gets the keys" juggling. No ridiculous checkout expectations. So many "good AirBnB" boxes checked. :) The location is great to either explore East Boston (which has its own charm I wasn't aware of) or to get downtown. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

It was great overall! Nice little area in Boston. Quiet at night and was easy to find with great instruction from the host! We parked in the Clarendon Parking Garage for the night and it was a quick walk.
