Holiday houses in Avoca

The Gathering Place was a great home to spend my son's Spring Break. We loved the hot tub and projector with large screen. There was plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was perfect for feeding our boys. Split level house allowed privacy for kids and adults, when needed. Highly recommend this home.

We stayed 10 days for our sons wedding! We felt right at home, slept great and is a great place to relax! We will definitely stay again when we come for another visit! Highly recommend!

We needed a place to unplug for a couple of days and it was perfect! Well equipped kitchen and charming nautical theme. Spacious backyard on a paved public trail. We visited off season to enjoy the quiet beaches, parks, coffee shops and a candy store.

Very close to things to do. Great view of the lake. Plenty of room in the main room and on the deck. Only two and a half bathrooms. They were nice and clean but with eight people only two full baths make things a little crowded at times. Nice kitchen area. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Many more not far away. Overall a great place.

Great stay. The host was very friendly and even included little surprises for my daughter to make our stay special. Have already recommended the listing to friends and family.

Beautiful sunrises over the lake. Staying in January didn't allow for much outside time, but the inside spaces and specifically toys for our younger guests were great. Your home made us feel very much at home!

This is a steal of a deal for a nice weekend cabin trip with friends! We had a a large group and there was more than enough space for us to hang out together or split off and all do our own things as we relaxed on a lazy day inside during some storms. The kitchen is very well stocked for all your cooking needs, plenty of extra towels and toiletries, extra bedding, fantastic hotel level beds, and ample cleaning supplies if you need it! Will definitely stay again if I'm planning something with a similarly sized group.

Great home with multiple rooms and beds for a larger family to stay comfortably. The game room in the garage was great and provided with multiple hours of fun and some competition. Decent amount of parking. Was very clean and provided a lot of amenities that were great. They were very responsible for any questions that we had and were more than willing to help out if we had any concerns. It was a great weekend for our family, and we would totally look forward to renting this again.
