Family-friendly holiday rentals in Avis

Die Hosts waren sehr nett und immer ansprechbar. Das Apartment und der Poolbereich waren wie auf den Bildern. Im Juli waren in der Gegend leider viele fliegen u.a., ein Insektenschutzspray ist hilfreich. Trotzdem war unser Aufenthalt sehr schön und das Airbnb zu empfehlen.

This is a beautiful home with lots of character and the hosts are nothing shy of amazing, they made us feel truly welcomed! Maria was extremely accommodating in helping us arrange transportation to where my brother was having his wedding, she herself drove 8 of my family members to the venue. She also made sure my entire family had breakfast from a local bakery on the day of the wedding which she once again picked up herself. Thank you again Maria,I will recommend your beautiful place to anyone looking for a larger place in a fantastic countryside setting. We will be staying at your place in the near future on our next family gathering.

Tive uma excelente experiência nesta hospedagem no Airbnb! A casa era muito espaçosa e limpa, o que tornou a minha estadia muito confortável. Além disso, a localização era incrível, com um enorme parque público a poucos passos de distância. O parque tinha quadras de pádel, um campo de futebol e muito espaço para caminhar e praticar esportes. Foi ótimo poder aproveitar as instalações do parque durante a minha estadia. Outro ponto positivo foi a proximidade de um mercado com uma ótima variedade de opções, ficando apenas a alguns metros da casa. Isso facilitou muito a compra de mantimentos e refeições durante a minha estadia. Recomendo fortemente esta hospedagem para quem procura um lugar confortável, limpo, com ótimas opções de lazer e atividades ao ar livre próximas, além de fácil acesso a um mercado. Certamente voltarei a me hospedar aqui em uma próxima oportunidade!

Gostámos muito da estadia no monte. A casa é super confortável com todas as comodidades. Aproveitámos a piscina e o espaço exterior. O Tiago foi muito prestável e solícito.

La maison est géniale, le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels, la vue incroyable. Vous êtes au calme et dans un cadre naturel splendide pour passer des vacances reposantes et vous ressourcer. Cette location Airbnb était exceptionnelle tant nos hôtes étaient gentils et généreux. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Marthe et Mathieu et avons pu profiter d’une grande piscine, d’un grand logement bien équipé et d’un spa privatif. A 1h de Lisbonne, nous ne nous sommes pas privés d’aller visiter la capitale à deux reprises. Un immense merci à nos hôtes. Il est fort probable que nous reviendrons y passer des vacances.

Zeer ruime woning met aangename terrasjes en een heerlijk zwembad. Carlos en zijn vrouw ontvingen ons met open armen! Ze waren heel vriendelijk en heel flexibel met in- en uitchecken. Een absolute aanrader!

Las mejores vacaciones que hemos tenido en familia! Gracias a la hospitalidad de Francisco y Filipa y todos la atención al detalle que han tenido durante nuestra estancia, y gracias a una casa absolutamente maravillosa, hemos tenido una de las mejores semanas en familia de siempre. Es la casa perfecta para un grupo de amigos o familiares que quieran disfrutar de una estancia super relajada. Para los niños, la piscina tiene protección a todo alrededor, hay una zona de juegos interior y otra exterior, y todo super seguro, dando los niños total libertad durante toda la estancia. Nosotros hemos buscado esta opción para evitar las playas en este verano marcado por Covid-19 y la verdad es que no queremos otra cosa! Sobre la vivienda, los espacios exteriores e interiores super amplios, con múltiples opciones de espacio para convivio o para relajar, las habitaciones también super amplias, 3 de las cuales son en-suite. La cocina es enorme y super bien equipada, la barbacoa super profesional... El jardín es un verdadero paraíso! Gracias Francisco y Fiipa por proporcionarnos estas vacaciones inolvidables!

Eugenia was so helpful . Very private. The pool was so nice And refreshing. Very roomy but the internet doesn’t reach the master bedroom . Would stay again.

We stayed here for our honeymoon two years ago and couldn't wait to come back. the area is so beautiful and the traditional Alentejo house is lovely. There is a good walking & cycling route along the ecopista, with lots of nature to see and hear. In the main town there are some excellent restaurants and the town market on Saturday is excellent. We love it here and we'll return!

We loved our stay in Evora at Jorges place!! From the start communication was excellent and he provided some really wonderful recommendations we took advantage of. The place was spacious and well appointed; the welcome bottle of wine was a perfect touch! It was a little rainy so we didnt make use of the courtyard or little balcony as much as we would have liked but I imagine these are lovely in sunny weather. Location was perfect for us - short walk from large free parking (next to aqueduct!) and right around the corner from a lot of sites. We had a great time in Evora and would definitely stay at Jorges place again!

The location is fantastic for access to everything in Evora old town. The only issue we had at all was finding the assigned parking space.

This is our second stay at this property. It is situated in a lovely area below the hilltop medieval town of Castelo de Vide. The grounds are spectacular with trees, plants, rock work and charming details. There are several exterior spaces for quiet reflection as well as dining. There are views both large and small. A rooftop terrace is perfect for morning coffee accompanied by chirping birds, the tinkling of bells from the necks of sheep grazing near by, and the sound of the fountain feeding the pool. Or for cocktails at sunset. It is heaven! The house is quite large, with ample space for gathering both indoors and out. Suzanne, the hostess, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions about places to see, local restaurants and events. We will be back.

La casa estaba muy bien, con todo lo necesario (quizás se echaba en falta un microondas) y en mitad de la naturaleza que es justo lo que buscábamos. Nos recibió Teresa y su pareja muy amables y dieron indicaciones de todo. Quizás lo único que no esperábamos era que el baño estuviera fuera de la casa, que aunque estaba al lado, como nos hizo mal tiempo y no tenia calefacción pasamos un poco de frio. Por lo demás todo estupendo y una experiencia recomendable!

Charming, unique and huge house in the center of beautiful Evora. We had a great experience staying in this building and Paulo was a very responsive and friendly host. We will be happy to come back!

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

Adoramos tudo. A Maria Francisca e o marido são pessoas extremamente educadas, prestativas, simpáticas e sempre à disposição. O espaço deles é exatamente como nas fotos. Uma casa não tão moderna, mas com todas as comodidades e conforto. O ar condicionado também é excelente. Recomendo muito e assim que possível, voltaremos.

Un beau gîte dans un environnement champêtre extraordinaire. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par une hôtesse adorable. Rita nous a servi un succulent petit déjeuner avec, entre autres, des tartelettes portugaises toutes chaudes. Un vrai délice. Elle parle très bien français, ce qui nous a permis d’avoir de belles discussions. On a beaucoup apprécié. De beaux et bons moments inoubliables. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

Very cute accommodation with a beautiful garden and swimming pool in a lovely area. Comfortable beds, equipped little kitchen and tasteful accommodation in general.

It was a wonderful place, an amazing house where everything was cleverly designed which we enjoyed. The house was divided in two sections which fitted perfectly for a family of 9 persons. Also a good dining room with an amazing view to the mountains which even more had a good function during rainy periods, The big screen was a scoop and the bath tub was a great with with the kids. We can only recommend the house and would like to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Danielle and I really enjoyed our stay in Carlos and Isabel guesthouse. A few things immediately come to mind when reviewing their guesthouse, like the cleanliness of the house and the beautiful decor. Clearly all of the amenities have been well thought out to make you feel at home and comfortable. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use their swimming pool. One minor suggestion would be to add a streaming service with the TV. We found Carlos to be friendly and very attentive to our needs during our stay. The location is rural, but only a short 5 minute drive to the city of Évora. There are a couple of small villages within a few minutes drive. In fact Danielle and I enjoyed one of our favourite Portuguese meals in the village of Valverde.
