Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. WIFI connection available. Crockery, linen and towels provided. Pets welcome. Reserved parking. Breakfast on request.

The strategic corner!

The building has undergone "ecobonus 110%" works and has therefore been totally renovated. Apartment with new modern furnishings, equipped with everything (in particular two new Mitsubishi air conditioners: in the living room and in the bedroom), with covered condominium parking and very close to the train station and the highway entrance, a short walk from the center and along a beautiful Corso... on which it is located...! Genuine Tuscany. Villa of 17th century with antique atmosphere. Confortable and isolated. Private swimming pool, sanitized with chlorine. (from mid May until beginning of Oct) Surrounded by a nice garden with olive trees and lavender. Freshness (400 m high), 2 km from Marliana village (pharmacy, doctor), 20 min from Montecatini Terme (railway station), close to Lucca, Pisa, Florence. Cheap and nice restaurants only 10/15 min from house. Adapted to families, group of friends. Pets ok (extra fee).

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

We had a nice stay at this Airbnb. It is up very high in the hills and quite an adventure to reach, but we enjoyed the drive up. The home is large and has a rustic vibe. We did have to be quite careful of the apartment below in the morning and evening, since our children are energetic and like to run around. It was hard to be quiet and we didn't realize this home was more of an apartment. Still a decent stay and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in “all'ombra del lauro” The house is big enough for the four of us and our dog. It also has many original Tuscan features and is simply but tastefully decorated. We were also able to spend a lot of time outside because of the beautiful weather. During the day in the shade of the laurel tree, in the evening in the hot tub enjoying the view and the setting sun. It is wonderfully quiet and peaceful here, the only thing we hear are the birds whistling. The location is a great place to use as a base to explore the area. With cities like Florence, Pisa and Lucca nearby, we didn't have to get bored. The places in the area were also worth visiting.
