Monthly Rentals in Austin

The place was beautiful and serene. We got to spend some time petting the barn cats and dog and really enjoyed the cows. We were even lucky enough to be there the day a new calf was born and got to see him only a few hours after he entered the world. You’re on a dairy farm so yes there is an odor, but we didn’t notice it in the apartment at all, only outside. But you probably want to keep the doors/windows closed. A little bit of noise at night (I think it was the automatic milking robots? Which were very cool to watch!) but again you’re on a functioning farm, so you should expect some noises. Kenny was super nice and eager to share his passion of farming and details about the place. They aren’t kidding when they say cell service is bad. We had spotty at best (T-Mobile) and the internet was a bit hit or miss sometimes too, so if you want to stream some shows you might want to download them ahead of time. But we were there for the experience, not TV. Would highly recommend staying here!

Rachel's place was perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for the four of us and the bedroom/ bathroom setup was outstanding. The location was ideal for both Mammoth Cave tours and downtown Glasgow.

Beautiful and relaxing area to go with your partner for a little weekend gateway. Great area and host. Highly recommend going.
