Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Au Sable River

This place was amazing and you were a great host!! We absolutely love it and it helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect.. the only bad thing about it was the bar and some of the parking but it was amazing!!

We love staying at Ashley’s houses! Awesome location for torch lake and great clean houses with room for a good size group!

Girls weekend at Van Etten Lake. House is adorable with plenty of amenities. The back deck is as where we spent most of our time. Large and comfy. We had a bonfire one night (thanks for leaving us some wood - it’s hard to gather on motorcycles ;)). Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We had a beach day in Oscoda and we want to come back! Found some nice spots for dinners. The weekend was over way too soon! Thanks for a great spot!

Alisha was VERY helpful, communicated very well and quick responses on all questions asked. My crew was in the area restoring power from the terrible ice/snow storm from the prior week. She welcomed us into her home! Thank you again for being able to help us and letting us stay!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! House was exactly as pictured, Beautiful surroundings, Kelsey communicated promptly and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be booking with Kelsey in the near future.

Mary is a great and kind host. She made ourselves like feeling at home. Homemade muffins were greatly appreciated. She also made us an extra gifts by proving some extra toys for our toddler. She was also flexible with check in and check out. Very nice decorated home!!

House was exactly as listed. In addition to being spotless clean, all the house amenities were top notch with the best being the kitchen. Made majority of meals in high end kitchen - so refreshing to have quality pots and pans that made the experience great. Master bath was large with multiple shower heads in the shower. We enjoyed the rear patio at night with a relaxing fire in the gas fire pit. Parking was more than adequate with plenty of room and large garage that allowed storage of multiple bikes and e-scooter. Location was great with short walk to downtown or waterfront. Be sure to check out the Bricktown Cookie Company, Bricktown Burger and Loco Boys Brewing all less than 2 blocks away. Access to Tart & Boardman Trails was very easy allowing near daily rides. Be sure to check out walking trails at Hickory Hills and Vasa - very easy and relaxing. Communication with Rande was outstanding with near instant response. Obvious that Rande really wants guests to enjoy the house

Beautiful, serene, and felt like home. My two dogs LOVED the pond out back and we all enjoyed roaming the expansive private yard. Saw a ton of deer, napped in the hammock, had a peaceful bonfire every night in the large bonfire pit. I loved the hot tub under the stars and the big jetted bathtub. Comfortable beds and the place had everything we needed to cook at home. An absolute gem and we plan to return!

Brenda and Jim’s place is great if you are in the area as it’s very quiet and private, beautiful surroundings and not too far from TC or the Frankfort area. We spent the weekend for the local Ironman and it was the right choice. You get all the rest you need and are close enough to both the race venue and some other small towns with nice places to eat and chill. The property was very clean, well organized and really spacious. I’d totally recommend it.

It was absolutely beautiful. The trees had just changed colors and it was such a nice view! It was quiet and private. During business hours, you can hear the wine tasting room but that didn’t bother me at all. We stopped in and the staff were super friendly and helpful. So happy to have visited. Highly recommend!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Accessible, convenient and clean. This spot is a 5 minute walk from downtown Walloon and the perfect accommodation for a short weekend visit. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and only 15 or so minutes from downtown Petoskey! Would stay again for next year’s floral workshop!

Great place to get away from devices but still has WiFi for when you need to get in touch

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

We enjoyed our stay! The dogs loved the fenced in back yard and it was in a perfect location to go hiking.

the place was immaculate despite the awful ice storm that has devastated the area. wonderfully kept and professionally clean. loved our time there enjoying pigeon river. The host Ronda is top notch. Couldn't be any better from short response times to detailed explanations on where things are located and check in was a breeze. The best hosts I've ever worked with. This place was easy to find and very affordable. It was very clean, has easy to follow rules for guest and has an abundant supply of things you will need for your everyday stay. Great stay for a couple or a family!!

Eric's place is exactly what an "up north" cottage should be. Cozy, rustic, comfortable, and in the middle of beautiful surroundings. We loved it! It was exactly as described and provided everything we needed. Eric was a great host, too. I mentioned that my husband and I were taking a weekend up north as a way to celebrate my birthday, and he ACTUALLY REMEMBERED! I walked in to find a birthday card and a token gift on the table. He also gave great instructions and local info, and stayed dialed in the entire weekend. As for the area, we drove to Harbor Springs and explored the Tunnel of Trees. We also biked the Little Traverse Wheelway from Harbor Springs to Petosky. And we checked out the fantastic bike trail right near Eric's place, which takes you to Aloha State Park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Wow, Sturgeon’s Return is such a charming cabin! 🏠 We were lucky to stay here during fall, and the cozy atmosphere was just perfect for our trip. The vintage decor gave it so much character, I loved it so much, and Stacey had thoughtfully provided all the amenities we could possibly need. 🍁 We had an amazing time and honestly didn't want to leave! 🥰 Can't wait to come back - this place is an absolute gem! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
