Cabin holiday rentals in Au Sable Forks

We had a great stay at Euymyoung’s cabin! It was beautiful, peaceful and clean. We felt right at home. I was very impressed by the amenities provided. I REALLY appreciated that it was pet-friendly with dog bowls, and even treats!!! My dog had the time of his life hiking and hanging out with us at the cabin. The hot tub was wonderful. This Airbnb has everything you could want or need. I highly recommend booking if you are traveling to the Adirondacks. You won’t be disappointed. Euymyoung communicated thoroughly and provided so much helpful information. Thank you for a great stay and for the wonderful memories that we will have for years.

We highly recommend staying here! Super clean and in a peaceful community only a short drive to Wilmington and Lake Placid. Stacy, our host, was also super responsive to any questions and needs. The hot tub was a great spot to hang out and relax after a long day on the water or on the trails. We will surely be back!

We had a great stay at Robin’s cabin right on Auger Lake for my birthday. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great especially since we had unexpectedly cold weather for June. The area was very quiet and peaceful, but still close to a lot of cool places. Definitely will be coming back!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

The place was very beautiful! My girlfriend and I stayed a weekend at the place and the place was super clean and perfect for us two . We loved the hot tub and the paddle boats that were provided for free. The fishing was great and the bed is super comfortable. The host is very responsive and informative . We like to stay at unique AIR BNBS and like to try something different each time , but this one we would 100% do again and are already making plans to do so .

We had an amazing stay! Everything was completely spotless, the appliances were top of the line, and the location was private and peaceful. Everything about the house was high quality and the hot tub was an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow!! Stay here!! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin! Everything was squeaky clean, cozy, bed was super comfortable, and had everything you'd need. Hot tub was SO nice, check in was beyond easy, and Amy was a responsive and caring host. Easy five stars!!

Bob and Joan’s cabin was absolutely spectacular. Overall this place is the perfect mountain getaway! This place has all the amenities you could need, prime commute to surrounding ADK regions, and let’s not forget the breathtaking views. This place exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for a get away to the mountains with the dog. Bob was an amazing host and we look forward to coming back, as well as passing along this gem to friends and family to also book with Bob & Joan!

We loved our stay. Host was friendly and told us about the property when we arrived. Lake placid was around the corner with plenty of restaurants, shops and hikes. Their land is beautiful with a pond and our dog loved to roam. The cabin was lovely. The owner crafted it himself and well. We can tell it he worked hard on it and it was built extremely well done for the space. We would come back again in the future. Thank you for allow us to experience your space :)

We loved our visit at the Peace Ridge Cabin! The cabin was cozy and peaceful, surrounding nice hiking trails and views of the mountains near by. The house offered amenities that made our stay exactly what we were looking for. Just a short drive to some nice restaurants and Lake Placid center made it convenient. We enjoyed getting to bring our dog who loved exploring the grounds! Jerry was polite and informative. He was even flexible when we needed to check in early! We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!

I only have great things to say about Christina’s place. The place was even better than the photos. As soon as I walked in, I remarked how cute it was. Christina communicated with me proactively and gave me a personal tour. She responded very promptly to communication and was lovely to talk to. Her place is serene and beautiful. I noticed a lot of thoughtful touches everywhere, including how the shower stall was built. (I 100% agree the shower head is amazing.) I enjoyed sitting by the brook and taking it all in. I was fortunate to have had the place to myself, but I cannot imagine there being any issues with another person or two there. Christina’s place was central to a lot of things I wanted to do in the area. I went on hikes and enjoyed delicious food. I would love to return this year.

We had a great time at Maureen’s place! The cabin was very cozy with plenty of space to relax. There is so much to do in this area and Lake placid is very close! It was perfect for our two labradoodles.

Catherine’s place was a dream. It’s right on the lake, so you have beautiful views and privacy. Catherine is very friendly and helpful and truly one of the best Airbnb hosts! We were undecided if we wanted to stay by the lake or in Burlington, and I am so glad we chose this Airbnb. We were close enough to town, but loved to get away to nature. She has extra amenities like a sauna, bikes, and kayaks. We brought our dog, and he loved having room to play ball and it was very pet friendly. I only wish we stayed longer, and I think it would have been great to be there in warmer weather. However, having my normal tea in the living area and watching the lake from inside was still lovely!

Such a lovely Airbnb will highly recommend to anyone looking for either a romantic getaway or a very fun weekend with friends. The view from the cabin is unbeatable and there is a small path down to the water. In June, the bugs were manageable and we came prepared with citronella candles so it was no issue!

My wife and I stayed for a weekend at Ezia's place. It was great! Extremely clean and very comfortable. Lots of space. Easy check-in. Good location: About 20 minutes from both Lake Placid and the Keene Valley-area trail heads. Highly recommended!

This cabin is so lovely and in a great location to enjoy so much of what we love about the Adirondacks. It’s close to paul smiths vic, lake placid, saranac lake, but the property itself if so lovely you might be tempted not to leave. The house itself is clean, well-appointed, functional and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We were there in sub zero tennis and were warm and cozy through the nights. We would love to come back here.

Megan and Phil were wonderful hosts! They were responsive and helpful. They had some great recommendations and the babbling brook sounds in the backyard was so soothing and calming. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and touches of the cabin and the bed was very comfortable. It was located conveniently close to lake placid, town of Keene and the ADK mountains. Thank you for having us!

The cabin was amazing!! It was even better than we hoped and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything that we could’ve possibly needed and the views were gorgeous by the river!! Would definitely book again!

Beyond the Schoolhouse being picturesque amongst the High Peaks, it was pristinely kept, and came loaded with an awesome ADK reading library that we loved! Karlan was a super accommodating and responsive host, and we are absolutely planning on making the Schoolhouse our regular remote HQ when hiking new mountains.
