Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Atlas Mountains

Accommodation in a town in the belt of Granada very well connected to the capital and to the Monachil area where there are some great routes. 35 minutes from Sierra Nevada. The house matches the photos, it was very clean, although it has its years. Antonio is very apañado. She lives next door and if you need it, in a minute she caters to you and if not, not even notes that she is. It is air-conditioned with split in the rooms that work perfectly, although there are no downstairs and if it is cold you have to pull a fireplace, which is very cool. The house has 3 bedrooms: one triple, one double, and one with two twin beds. Two bathrooms, one up and one down and the hot water works very well. Antonio provides towels, hand gel and hairdryer. There are board games and films (not children's). In short, we were very comfortable with 4 children playing in the garden or in the living room to the games after visiting Granada and the Sierra. Thank you!

We have just returned from a 13 day stay in this fantastic house. We really enjoyed the space, the peace, the view and the friendly people in the neighborhood. In a word: Ge-wel-dig! We will definitely come back.

It is a beautiful,quiet village and the views are unbeatable. The house was very cozy, it was clean and tidy. The fireplace is wonderful and we had extra wood to enjoy it at night. The beds were very comfortable and with comforters for a hot night. One of the rooms had in the air conditioning, so it helps whether it's cold or hot. There was one bathroom for each floor, this being very comfortable, the truth. The sofa was very large and comfortable, as was the cushions that it had. The house is very close to the parking,so it's easy to get there. Steven was very friendly and I offer to help us with our bags,always paying attention if we need anything to be able to provide it as quickly as possible ( he lives half an hour from the house so it is very good help). I facilitate check-in and check-out time for added convenience. 20 mins to grenade by car I hope to come back another year because we really felt right at home.

Judith and Jose were great and helpful hosts, having kindly picked us up from the coach station on arrival and booking taxi on day we left. Very homely spacious house, spotlessly clean. The bikes made such a difference to our holiday especially as we did not have a car. The walk along the coast to Sancular was lovely.

Hazel was a superior host! We received immediate and friendly responses. She left a very detailed list of instructions and recommendations. The location is central to other towns we wanted to visit. I highly recommend Hazel’s place.

Zakaria was one of the best hosts I ever had. He is very friendly, helpful and hospitable. He also helped me to to find good quality goods I was searching for in Marrakech. The appartment itself was just wonderful, right at the edge of the medina (old city) and the new medina (new city), so I could be everywhere quite fast by foot. The interiour design of the appartment was made with love and passion, you could really feel, Zakaria put his heart into this. Altogether, it was a beautiful stay and time there and I felt very welcome and home from the beginning. Thank you Zkaria and I hope we will meet again :D

Quiet-spoken, kind & courteous Badr was immediately responsive. His place is located a 5 minute walk from the beach, a 15 minute walk to the fascinating port and beautiful Medina, a 3 minute walk from bakeries, so well located. The large & well-stocked Carrefour grocery store is 5 minutes by car. Lots of street parking in front of the building & we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Badr's place is spacious, comfortable, nicely appointed and relatively quiet (until the meuzzin calls the faithful to prayer). WIFI worked, as did Netflix, but the satellite TV signal was weak, not that we minded. Water pressure in the shower was OK; note that the WC is a wet room (floor squeegee provided), & small kitchen has all you need. We enjoyed our stay, especially the additional space of Badr's place over a hotel room! Many thanks for a hospitable stay in the lovely Essaouira!

Honestly the most serene, well presented, convenient and perfectly sized family apartment we've stayed at in a long time. Everything at your fingertips. Really well presented, clean and fresh and tasteful interior. Loads of kitchen appliances and bits and bobs around the apartment that made it feel like it was our own home from home. Really quiet in the local area, no noise. Also super handy if you need to pop back to the apartment if you're spend a day at the beach. Literally 5 minutes by foot. Friendly holiday makers in the area, a mix of nationalities. Kids made friends on the beach and it felt really safe and relaxed. Busy but not too busy. And we squeezed in a few trips such as a yacht / catamaran trip from Faro to see the caves and see the coast, waterpark day perfect for the kids, a trip to neighbouring village to see tourist sites. Mainly enjoyed the apartment and local beach and restaurants though. Would def book to stay here again.

This is new, spacious apartment. The bathroom is great and everything is spotless clean!. It was warm and nice inside. Ali is great host, easy to communicate and very helpful.

Beautiful house 5 min drive to a beautiful beach. The pool is heated but we enjoyed the Jacuzzi and normal fireplace more in November. We were able to eat outside at lunchtime. The environment is very quiet and the house is spacious and very well-equipped. Thanks again to Izabel and Taylor for their hosting, welcome gift and great availability.

A beautiful villa with a huge pool surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kids loved exploring & the hosts were very responsive with a few issues which arose. We would love to return!

Even better than it looks in the photos - so peaceful and relaxing. Being able to open most of one wall of the living room to let in fresh air was lovely. Really enjoyed sunrises, especially from the rocking chair. Wonderful throw blankets and bedding. Feels magical to be so close to the city and yet in the countryside. Be warned that GPS has a hard time locating correctly - we had a fiasco with Uber, but our hosts warned us and helped check-in go smoothly. Really happy with them as hosts and with the villa overall.
