We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this cozy cottage on Falls Lake! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had so many thoughtful amenities that made our stay super comfortable. From the fully stocked kitchen to the firepit by the lake, everything was perfect for a relaxing retreat. The weather was sunny and beautiful, and we made the most of the lake during the day and the firepit in the evenings. David, the host, was incredibly welcoming and helpful—he made everything seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the comforts of home!

This is a delightful place. Watching the sunrise and moonrise from the dock was beautiful. While it is a bit of a drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, coming back to the house to relax was a highlight. The girls did a few puzzles while the guys played pool. We sat on the dock to relax in the sun and listen to the water lapping on the shore. Thank you for letting us stay here.

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette weekend and had so much fun! The property itself is incredibly private, surrounded by beautiful views of the rolling forest hills and trees. The chalet was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. Wendy was a phenomenal host, who was responsive throughout our whole stay and provided us with lots of recommendations of things to do close by. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 10/10 would recommend!

When you drive up to Cole Cottage you will find yourself in a truly magical place. We arrived at sunset and went right to the cove behind the cottage. The beach is filled with marvelous beauty. The kids explored the tide pools, found shells, sea glass, small crabs and star fish while my husband and I watched the sky. Sunsets in the back became a regular part of our trip. Each one was unique and mesmerizing. The location was really great because you can easily drive to the many places of interest on Mt Dessert Island including an entrance to Acadia National Park just minutes from the cottage. The cottage was the perfect home to return to. I can’t even put into words how magical and amazing the cove and view out the back were. The huge windows facing the back offered breathtaking views any time we were ‘home.’ The porch was a perfect place for coffee in the morning and a night cap in the evening. The stars were magnificent. Cole Cottage is a perfect beach side cottage with all the comforts of home. Comfy beds, cozy blankets, many different types of coffee makers, kitchen appliances and laundry. My family and will have many fond memories of our time in Maine at Cole’s Cottage.

This home was everything we wanted when we thought about a vacation in Maine. The views were stunning, the house was private and had a perfect setup for our group. The fire pit area right on the water was our favorite place and made for a great spot to start and end our day. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Our group of friends had a great weekend at The Guzzle. The Airbnb was prepared with fun. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a mini family reunion and found the home to be a fantastic place that accommodated 3 small families plus grandparents. Our kids had a fantastic disco party in the games/bar area complete with disco ball and lights. The kitchen had everything we needed; the living room was relaxing; the bathrooms had great water pressure and the kiddos loved the giant bathtub. The view was unbeatable, we would recommend this place to anyone.

Stunning view and Spa Like experience! Étienne was a great host and his place had EVERYTHING we needed. It was so inviting and relaxing. We had a great girls weekend get away and enjoyed the hot tub, screened in gazeebo, wonderful fire pit and swing under the tree. We also saw that he is constantly renovating and adding to the property to keep improving something that is already great! We will certainly be back!

Warm and comfortable cottage. The garden is beautiful. We loved our stay despite a whole day of rain (board games helped us pass the time☺️). The view of the nearby lake is very pretty. Some hikes to do nearby. The wifi is working perfectly. A place to recommend.

This Airbnb exceeded every expectation. First and foremost, it was spotless. Exceptionally clean from top to bottom, and not a single spider or bug in sight, which honestly felt like a miracle given the peaceful, wooded setting. Paul was wonderful, responsive, helpful, and made everything feel smooth and easy from the moment we booked to the moment we checked out. It’s clear he takes great pride in the space and cares about his guests’ experience. The private beach was a dream. Shallow and safe, it was absolutely perfect for our 4 year old to splash, play, and explore. We spent hours there each day making memories in the sunshine. Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, peaceful, pristine, and perfect for families

It was a very nice stay even if a little short. The scenery was beautiful and the successions of the tides soothing. The house was ultra clean and the decor charming. Host was very present via messages to answer our questions. Having a charging station for our electric car was a blessing! 😉 A real favorite, thank you!

What a beautiful place! We loved the cottage and its location was wonderful for our exploration of this part of Cape Breton. It was only about 40 minutes to Baddeck and 1:45 to Fortress Louisbourg. It was well equipped and spacious - perfect for the four of us. The loft was great for my 18 year old nephew who was up later than the rest and the other two bedrooms are at opposite sides of cottage - great for sleeping! Unfortunately, it was grey and rainy for most of our stay so we did not get to enjoy the patio much at all. It must be wonderful in the sunny weather, though! The screened in area was great (we did get an hour without rain one evening). There was lots of room for us inside to hang out during the rainy days and the big windows with the view of the lake made being inside not so bad! The property feels very private. Even though there is a trailer park nearby, we were completely unaware of it when at the cottage. Not much close by but be sure to eat at Charlene’s!
