Beachfront holiday rental in Atlantic Canada

We had a great stay - awesome spot for a trip away with friends! Lots of space to lounge inside and a beautiful deck with a view. Loved having a BBQ & hot tub, and a fully stocked kitchen. Easy to move in for a couple of days and have it feel like home!

Julie and Rich are amazing! The boat house was the exact little cottage on the bay you expect it to be and more. From the decor to the recommendations they gave, we felt right at home. They furnished the place perfectly with antiques and art. Highly suggest booking and exploring their recommended list. Everything we did blew us away and the people just made it even better. We felt like we were at home and hanging with our neighbors. They also left little surprises everywhere so make sure you keep and eye out for any hiding spots. Their process was simple and easy. There was not a question to be asked besides how can we be friends with julie and rich? Not to mention the views. They told us to keep an eye on the field and sure enough we saw a mama deer and her babies. If you’re on the edge of booking, the view alone is worth it. Be sure to check out Captain Johns Sailboat tour and Gale at Lubec brewing. we never had to ask ourselves what should we do, the locals will tell you.

Can’t say enough about Pam and Keith! Beautiful location, beautiful cabin. It was just the peaceful getaway we needed! They made us feel so at home, recommended some beautiful places to take a bike ride out to and also saved us from the bog we got stuck in 😂 even our dog enjoyed his stay 😊 10/10 all around, will be coming back in the future!

Very few places can be as lovely as this place is. Surroundings, weather, accommodation, amazingly cute animals and the most wonderful host. What a treat!! We loved the local grocery shopping and the bar as well.

This place is perfect for a direct connection with the river. The chalet (rather house) is fully equipped, nothing is missing. The village of Trois-Pistoles is 5 km away. 2 grocery stores, 4-5 restaurants. Highly recommended.

We had an incredible time. The hot tub was incredible and we could see the seals on the ice while in the hot tub. Wonderful treats that we purchased from them. The chocolate eclairs were especially fantastic as was the smoked salmon with jalapeno pepper jelly!! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kyle.

The best and most beautiful location near Cheticamp. We were so impressed with this stunning lodge and its incredible design. Everything was so comfortable and laid out well. This place has the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever come across, we loved the cool water dispenser. And last but not least, the views are phenomenal! Thank you so much for hosting us.

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

Absolutely stunning place. Extremely responsive and kind host. Lots of dishes, cookware, appliances to use. Extremely comfortable beds. Three pristine bathrooms. Clean fridge. Stellar and stunning ocean views! Perfect all around

Lovely host for a last minute getaway. Watching the stars and sunrise in the dome was remarkable. Already planning our next trip there with friends!

My return visit to the Boathouse was even lovelier than I hoped it would be. The location can't be matched by anything else I've seen. I enjoyed a September visit with my dog and was lucky to have pristine weather. I lived a very simple and healthy outdoors life and came home the better for it. The Boathouse is true to its description: it is simple and rustic and uncomplicated but well-equipped, and is perfect for one-and-dog, or for two people. A little coming-and-going from the neighboring houses meant that I didn't feel isolated. Margaret is truly an exceptional and friendly host who communicates promptly and clearly. I almost hesitate to share "my" Boathouse location with too many of my back-home friends because it feels so intimate and special. I already want to be back there. I offer my deep thanks to Margaret and to the place that I could - briefly - call home.

This was a truly fabulous place -- my only regret was not staying longer. We found this listing after planning a trip to Five Islands Provincial Park, as part of a larger road trip around Nova Scotia. Had we known just how wonderful and peaceful the property and area were, we would have stayed longer and used the spot as a bit of a "home base" to do some more exploring around the region. The house is beautiful, and Jennifer and Barclay are really working to create a wonderful small vacation community, with a few other rental units on the property. Jennifer warmly welcomed us on arrival and gave us some local recommendations. The Five Islands Lighthouse Park, which is a 5-minute walk from the unit, is a fabulous place to watch the tide go in and out, and the surrounding residential community feels very warm and welcoming.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views from the kitchen and living room are exceptional.

We had a mother-daughter stay at Marissa’s! It was perfect! One thing that stood out is how clean the place was! Very peaceful, nice view and relaxing atmosphere. Marissa responded quickly to any questions we had, 10/10!! We would stay again!!! Merci!

Stunning view and Spa Like experience! Étienne was a great host and his place had EVERYTHING we needed. It was so inviting and relaxing. We had a great girls weekend get away and enjoyed the hot tub, screened in gazeebo, wonderful fire pit and swing under the tree. We also saw that he is constantly renovating and adding to the property to keep improving something that is already great! We will certainly be back!

Ned and Anne were perfect hosts and their “Tiny House with the Enormous View of Acadia” was the perfect location and indeed has an enormous view. Short drives to various parts of Acadia, beautiful and private property, and a cool design to the home were the reasons I chose this location…..and everything met my expectations. Thank you Ned and Anne!

What a wonderful place to disconnect from everything! I wish we could have stayed longer as there was lots to do in the area - don’t miss Hidden Falls! Just sorry I was sick for most of our stay. Wendy and Harold were amazing hosts!

5 stars isn't enough! 😍 this dome-shaped glamping site was absolute perfection. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the bathroom was spotless and well-appointed. Can't wait to come back!

Great cottage to stay in. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed and more. Was nice to have a home made “sweet treat” left in the fridge …. Definitely goes above and beyond for her guests.

The house and surroundings were beautiful - surpassed our expectations. The deck area, private beach, firepits - wow! The house was fully equipped with everything you'd need. Just wish we could've spent more time. Highly recommend - we'd definitely go back!

Amazing water views from every window. So calming and peaceful, even on a rainy day. We had a very comfortable stay here. It's very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. Was great to drive back to the quiet surroundings of Herring Neck at the end of a day out. Easy 15min drive to Twillingate. We saw many icebergs from land (nearby to Twillingate) and also on a boat tour. Such a beautiful part of the world. Can highly recommend Paul's place to stay if you are coming to the area.

The Snug is beautifully decorated, cozy and warm. Absolutely charming in all aspects. Located on an upper level, it provides fantastic views overlooking the water as well as beach access. The hosts Linda and John were very welcoming and kind. John was our hero when he came by with some last minute technical help to get the Oiler’s Stanley cup series game on TV for my hubby, and Linda was my hero when she told me there would be a cinnamon bun treat for me in the morning and then also provided a special treat my for my husband who has a dietary restriction. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness. I hope we have opportunity to return and see Linda and John again and their gem of a property.
