Casa Temazcal *Back to Origin*

This home is a 20 minute walk from downtown Oaxaca, a 5 minute drive. The colony La Cascada de Oaxaca originated as part of the old San Felipe aqueduct, which was built between 1722 and 1751. This aqueduct was carrying water from Cerro San Felipe to the Carmen Alto temple. It is noted for its tranquility and proximity to the center. It has a large garden as well as a wood-fired oven, there is also a temazcal whose can use for an extra cost.
