Muki’s place is absolutely wonderful! Fantastic amenities and is so comfortable and clean. The breakfast is delicious and has a lot of variety each day. The bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and well laid out. Our suite had an in room washing/spin-dry machine and drying rack which was so convenient. The room includes a desk where you can get work done as well as a nice couch. The HDTV rotates so you can watch it from the couch or the bed. Great sitting and reading spot in the common area. Such a relaxing place that feels like home. Muki, goes above and beyond as a host to make your stay absolutely amazing! If you are planning a trip to Guwahati we highly recommend staying here!

A wonderful stay almost in the heart of Shillong, very friendly staff who took care of everything. They provided great recommendations and helped us book taxis to other places around Shillong. The food was amazing. The place has a lot of character and style. I would recommend The Anchorage to anyone at any time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent – central and with many restaurants close by. The room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We also got warm blankets and a heater as we were there in the winter. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the service. Breakfast was fresh and varied. Another highlight was the cozy atmosphere of the hotel – you immediately feel welcome. We highly recommend the guesthouse and would be happy to come back!

Location: Perfect for us. We were in Shillong for the NH7 Weekender. So we wanted something located close to the bus stop and shuttle drop off points. It's about a 20 minute walk to Police Bazaar and say about 30 min walk to SRGT bus stop. 2 minute walk from Barik bus stop, which was a BIG help cause we got back from the venue after midnight. Place: Room and attached bathroom are super clean. Breakfast is served in the morning and being a big eater I was definitely not left wanting. Completely worth it. Plus, it's very very rare to have a host make the effort to serve you something different every morning. We definitely appreciated the effort and care. Host: Very welcoming, helpful and warm. Trust me, you'll feel right at home here. Go ahead and book.

Annie's place is great! My friend and I stayed at the Horbill Room, which is spacious and beautifully done up. The view from the large balcony (shared with another room - but it's super large, so there is more than enough space) is the bit I enjoyed the most: I spent several hours sitting there, studying the sun setting over the paddy fields, and we ate our breakfast there in the morning. The location is close to the airport, and the common kitchen where we were served dinner (styled like a traditional Naga kitchen with modern amenities) is cosy and well equipped. Annie and her staff took good care of us. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely gorgeous and homely place with great amenities, breakfast and dinner they made was very tasty and well prepared, Eric was a lovely host, very responsive and helpful throughout and made our stay quite comfortable. A very decent, honest & good to stay property in Cheerapunji. We had a comfortable stay, the caretaker was supportive and the food provided was also homely. As there are very less genuine & decent stay options in Cheerapunji, this property stands handy. You just need to book in advance during peak seasons as it fills up fast. Special thanks to Ms. Felicia, who helped us immensely with bookings & local guidance. Mr. Regain too helped us with our personal queries.

Ketho is an INCREDIBLE host! He made sure we were taken care of and helped us make his Airbnb our home in a new place especially considering its our first time to Kohima! Absolute gem of a person and his staff were very friendly and treated us as family. We had hot home cooked meals and they made sure we could eat regardless of what time we found ourselves returning. Winter (the pup) is an ABSOLUTE sweetheart!

Meadow Muse is a property slightly off the beaten track and this is what makes it so special. A walk towards Duku and you'll find the lone house amidst the backdrop of splendid hills and vast fields of rice. Unsheen and her mother were great hosts and were professional in their approach. I would suggest to take the rooms in the main house rather than the backyard as the facilities for the backyard homes are not great (No Wash basin, common toilets, etc.). I would also recommend that you eat the food at the place which is priced quite reasonably. In the future, it would also be great if the property has official tie-ups with transporters as transport is definitely an issue anywhere in Arunachal Pradesh. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this property. A very relaxing space, professionally managed.

Diezesinuo is a Superb Host, prompt responses with clear instructions and information. She is very nice and ensured I am comfortable. The apartment is awesome with mountain view patio. The moment I stepped in, I felt like home. We requested for dinner as we reached late, we got delicious North Indian dinner which we weren't expecting!!! It was super yummy!! :) The place has everything you need at home with additional amenities. It is beyond whatever is listed on Air BnB. Super clean and hygienic bathrooms, clean linens, well setup kitchen with all electronics items to make snacks for yourselves…. I enjoyed my stay here and DEFINITELY book this place for my future visit to Kohima. We visited Kohima for Hornbill Festival and Kitty's place was cherry on cake for our trip! Kitty, Tia and Jack were amazing and helped us at every step. Infact booked Scooty and Cab for our commutation! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE for comfortable and homely stay in Kohima!!! Very tastefully done place. Central location with good eateries around the place. Debajyoti was a great host, not to mention the domestic help at the bungalow that was extremely nice and helpful. Compares to any good corporate accommodation with all amenities needed. Will definitely choose this over a host of other hotels in Guwahati.

I’m thrilled I found Rachel’s homestay! It felt like home, with spotless rooms and a clean bathroom. They even have a heater and a geyser for hot showers. The food is delicious and authentic. They have bikes and scooters for rent, and the place is surrounded by two adorable furry friends who’ll shower you with love. The caretakers are super sweet, and a special shoutout to Shine! I met Ashley on the last day of my stay, and I’m so glad I did. He’s a biker and traveler with a wealth of knowledge about the Northeast region. He organizes unique trips and tours that you won’t find anywhere else. Last but not least, Rachel is an amazing and caring person who makes sure you’re always comfortable and happy. I absolutely felt like home! She went above and beyond to help me plan my itinerary and make sure my stay was peaceful and enjoyable. She even arranged cabs for me at odd times! Great Host. Easy Check-in. Well maintained rooms. Very Clean and hygienic. Comfortable and a great place to stay. Very friendly people. Overall it was great experience. A recommended stay to every travellers out there.

I stayed for 1 night only and it was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. The basic amenities were provided. There was water, tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was also offered in the morning which was really nice. I am a vegetarian but they also gave an egg in the breakfast. It would have been nice if I was asked about my non vegetarian preference. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with. It was easy to find the location and an Uber could easily reach it. There is construction going on next doors so there was noise in the daytime. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that they changed my room without informing me or asking me. My bed was next to a window and it was a bit cold at night so I could not sleep very comfortably. However the overall stay was very good. I would recommend this homestay :)

The whole family were wonderful hosts. They helped with advice on places to see and ways to get there. This clearly was the most warm, friendly and helpful experience we have had with AirBnb hosts. They went out of their way to provide us with information, arranging for transportation, advice on food and conversations about the people of Nagaland and their history. We learned so much from our interactions with them. Even when we were out, they would connect with us to make sure we were doing OK. A truly wonderful experience.
