Family-friendly holiday rentals in Asphodel-Norwood

It was another enjoyable stay. This is our second time staying at Micheal’s listing here in Norland. The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks again for the relaxing getaway :)

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Our group of ladies were excited to stay at SkySuite for a lovely weekend getaway in wine country! Saskia and Maarten have been very welcoming and always communicated with us in a polite and timely manner. SkySuite was presented to us in pristine condition, equipped with all of the amenities and supplies that you could need for a visit! It's a beautiful location in a private setting; we really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and truly appreciated the accessibility features of SkySuite. The lakefront view from the property is truly unique for an Airbnb location, you will not be disappointed! Plenty of fresh towels, clean linens, and a lot of wonderful perks including a Nespresso machine! Saskia and Maarten were very accommodating and provided too notch hospitality, without any pressure and provided us with the space we all enjoyed. We will be recommending this property to others and would absolutely love to attend this property in the future for our visits to PEC!

Loved the cottage very clean, there was cleaning supplies and small things that they keep stocked with was very nice to be able to grab from when we ran out instead of going to town. The hot tub was great very clean, and the screened in porch out front was a great touch aswell.

Carola was very responsive whenever we needed to message her, which wasnt often. Her air b&b had everything we needed for a comfortable stay while we were 4 hours away from home. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and show her passion and pride for her property. There were a couple minor hiccups that were out of anyones control during our stay and she rectified them right away while also keeping us informed, and were not inconvenienced by the hiccups at all. The condition, location and her communication made our stay totally worth it. We rented the hot tub and it was a beautiful treat with the typical May 2/4 weather fluctuating. Carola added in thoughtful comforts hanging at the entrance to make our stay that much more enjoyable, it was thoughtful, sweet and appreciated. This is a must stay at location. We will definitely be back!

We just spent 5 nights at the postmaster's house and we had a wonderful time. Communication with Trevor was easy and everything was as described. The location is fantastic for a vacation, even with our 2 year old son. The environment around the house and the view from the backyard is very calming. We would, without hesitation, stay there again!!!

We stayed at the house for a family long weekend in May 2025. The property was as described and well appointed. A great base to visit the County.

We stayed a weekend in May. The place is immaculate and the view is beautiful, exactly like the pictures! Because it rained intermittently and cool we didn’t get to use the outdoor amenities including the firepits. The trail towards the back of the property around the pond was washed out due to the amount of rain we have been getting. It didn’t dampen our weekend though but we look forward to coming back and explore. We enjoyed outings like brunch in Sterling and a water buffalo farm 3 minute drive from the house which had great gelato. We also walked around the main road the house was on and met a few friendly neighbours. The hot tub was great and so was sitting on the deck having a drink and taking in the beautiful scenery. The beds were comfortable and each bedroom had their own bathroom. All amenities were there including the kitchen - we cooked 2 dinners and found everything we needed. Overall a great choice if you are looking for a place to relax with a view, this is it.

Our stay at Denise’s place was amazing! The house was beautiful, spacious, and located in a lovely little town. It fit all six of us adults comfortably, and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped—we even had a barbecue and were pleasantly surprised that everything we needed for it was available. Denise was very kind and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We felt very welcomed and would love to come back again!

We have booked twice at this place and we just love it . There’s too much to do and the house is beautiful.

This was our first time in Prince Edward County and we are so happy that we decided to book our stay here! ❤️ Our hosts, Denise and Mike are absolutely the best! They’ve anticipated everything that we would need and they certainly made us feel very welcome. We love the interior of the place as it gave us cozy, county feels with modern touches that instantly made us feel right at home (couldn’t help but take pictures!). We also loved the charming balcony deck as it was a perfect spot to just reflect and relax. Restaurants and shops were within easy walking distance and Denise & Mike even gave us tips on where to go and what activities we could do. The free Sandbanks pass was very helpful (thanks guys!) and they thoughtfully left beach chairs, parasols, and a beach bag by the door for us to use. It’s like everything was thought of and prepared for us in advance and all we needed to do was enjoy the county - and we sure did! Definitely recommending them to our friends and family.

Such a cozy space that accurately reflected the Air BNB listing! The location was approximately 15 minute away from downtown Picton by car which was a major plus for us. Sally was proactive with her communication with us and always quick to respond to our messages. We arrived late in the evening and there was limited lighting along the long driveway which made it slightly more challenging when we first got there but this wasn't a huge deal. Sally has a large sign with arrows indicating for you to follow to the cabin & where to park your vehicle which was helpful. The cabin was well-furnished and clean. The bed and seating were very comfortable. Mother nature wasn't completely on our side for our weekend getaway as it rained and was slightly too cold for us to make use of the beautiful screened in porch, the fire pit or explore down by the water on the property. The cabin has a nice remote controlled fire place that adds an extra cozy touch. We would definitely recommend!

We had a great experience at Zev’s place. It was nice and cozy and central to everything that we planned to do in PEC. It was perfect for what my husband and I needed for a weekend getaway. Zev was even kind enough to gift us with a bottle of wine. We would love to return again.

My husband and I stayed at Alan and Rosalie’s place for our honeymoon with our pup Phoebe. We had the best time ever. The photos don’t even do this place justice. It really is a little slice of heaven. So private and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed going on walks through the various trails that are well maintained and relaxing on the dock. We will most definitely be back to visit! Alan and Rosalie were also very welcoming and responsive!

The coach house was a perfect size for two people. Very quaint. It was pretty well as described, but not quite walking distance to Main Street in my opinion. But it was less than a 5-minute drive to the free parking lot on Mary Street and easy walking to the shops on Main St. From there. Lovely shops & restaurants in Bloomfield & Wellington and wineries all about 20 minutes away. Love the County for a short getaway.

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

We just returned from a weekend with our extended family at Crossroads of the County. The home is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you can think of. Kitchen is stocked with utensils and spices making it easy to make your own food there. The location itself is also a quick drive to anywhere you want to go in the area. We loved how kid friendly the location was with toys for the kids, and even plates and cups + playpen and high chair making it a lighter packing trip for us. We would definitely (and hope to!) return again!

Margaret seemed very nice, she left croissants in the kitchen for us to have in the morning. Overall a very cozy spot to stay and we had no issues. One thing I noticed is that there's an adjoining door that connects from her side of the building to ours and I'm not sure if it locks, maybe it does but I didn't see a lock option on my side. Anyway it still felt private and we definitely got what we paid for.

We had the absolute best trip, and Erica’s place played a huge part in that. The property was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and so comfortable. Erica was incredibly responsive and organized from the very start, which made everything so smooth and stress-free. We truly enjoyed every moment in the space and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Heather’s cottage was amazing! Able to accommodate a group of guests without squishing or being in anyone’s way! A couple little insects wanted to join our weekend but nothing a paper towel and a double wipe with some all purpose cleaner couldn’t beat! After all it is a cottage! Amazing large space (especially that sunroom!) with lots of amenities (the hot tub, chrome cast, indoor speakers and pool were a BIG HIT)! Great for game nights and the sunsets were beautiful. Bunker house was also clean and very comfortable for some of guests to stay in! Overall great experience and our hosts were so nice and easy to talk to. Would recommend this cottage and would definitely book again!

Heather’s house was a fantastic place to spend the weekend in PEC! The house and property were beautiful, spotless and came stocked with any and every amenity you might need. The location was also great as it was private but still close to many wineries. Heather was friendly, informative and responsive and made the entire process easy. We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a getaway in the county!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).
