The location is one of the sunniest in eastern Norway, with sunshine until around 10 pm in the summer. You walk to the jetty in 2 minutes. A five minute walk from the house you can get public transportation bringing you downtown Asker in ten min. Asker has a small, but well developed downtown with a nice selection of stores, restaurants and coffeeshops. Trains will bring you to Oslo in twenty min. 15 min by car will bring you to the Oslo fjord in Asker.
