Beautiful place and a nice clean home

Spent New Year here, fantastic views, very comfortable accomodation, well equipped if you chose to self cater, would recommend.

Beautiful place, well maintained and equipped. Conveniently 10-15min drive to all the town services but in the middle of nature, right by the water. We stayed for six nights with our 10 month old baby and would happily return!

Very nice cabin, perfect for a larger group. Could have benefited from an extra bathroom, but with a little planning, it worked out fine with 15 people and 1 bathroom.

Literally heaven on earth, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Svein and his family were so beautiful and kind. I felt so safe and peaceful there. I will definitely be back. 100/10 loved everything about my stay xx

The cabin was super cosy, clean and comfortable. Thanks to the forest surrounding it, you don’t feel like you are in such a close proximity to Oslo at all! The hot tub outside was a highlight of the trip and it was also super easy to use. Highly recommend!

We love it here in the authentic, Norwegian home of Kristian Vidar! The fireplace is wonderful, the view is spectacular and ever-changing, the town has great places to visit, great walks.

We had some nice days at this cabin, with both trips on the island, boat trip on the fjord and play and fun on the trampoline and in the garden. Both Mats and Hedda wanted us to thrive, and had laid out towels, bed linen and children's toys before we arrived, and also offered to shop for us on a rainy day. Would recommend this cottage.

Had a really nice stay at the nice cabin. Easy to find and the space met expectations. Would love to come back here at a later date:)

Beautiful house on the fjord, the location was perfect, very quiet and my evening view of the fjord was really great. By car you can do a lot and explore the area. The house is spacious, the beds are very comfortable and in the kitchen you will find everything you need for cooking. Jostein responds very quickly and is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our stay very much and will remember the fjord for a long time.

Friendly host, great views

We loved our stay very much. The house looks like the pictures and matches the description. Everything was present, it was clean and very cozy. Perfect to relax after a walk! The location is ideal. It is about a 20-minute walk to the harbor, holmsbu trade, the Juno Café, Schulestedet,... You will also be in the forest in no time. A 15 minute drive away, is a larger supermarket, KIWI. We recommend 100%!

Halvor's cabin is really very nicely located on an ingrown slope above the Oslofjord. The hut is lovingly maintained and in good shape. In the evening sun we enjoyed the beautiful view of the fjord and then turned on a cozy fire in the fireplace. Oslo is about 35 minutes, really not too far for a day trip. We highly recommend the place and Halvor as a host !

Lars is an excellent host, friendly, proactive and always trying to make the guest comfortable. highly recommend his place for a quiet and peaceful stay in Oslo suburbs. Five stars.

It's wonderful to spend a night here! Super nice location, well styled and amazing facilities! I recommend spending time here! A small tip is to bring your own drinking water, as the water in the fountain did not taste very good. But otherwise, you couldn't have wished for a better place to spend fine summer days with barbecue, sun and waves. 🌞

The stay in was very successful. Amazing owners. Helpful and courteous. The place is beautifully situated. The cottage is very well equipped with everything necessary, and what should be added acceptance of dogs. Big plus. We very much appreciate the CDs and the ability to play them. A place a recommending.

We had a great weekend at the cabin in October. Bente and Pål were very helpful and met us there to make sure we were comfortable. The cabin is quiet, cozy and has everything you need. It is amazing to wake up to the sounds from the fjord. We went for a walk and tried hard fishing 😊 We hope to be able to come back sometime.

I didn't meet Tor in Person, but he was always very quick to respond and proactively asking if all is good. The cabin is amazing. Very cozy, very quiet. Just perfect to find a quiet place to relax. All in all really great experience. Absolutely recommended 🥰

A very nice spot, Peter's cabin is very comfortable, clean and has a great view. We felt instantly at home. Peter was answering very quickly whenever we had a question. We would recommand this place to everyone. Just keep in mind, from the parking place it goes down just a little walking way, a little steep, as described in Peter's announcement. Thanks very much!

Nice leisure place and home with a very good host.

We loved staying at Nora's. The cabin is beautiful and well located. Such a peaceful place. It was lovely to meet Nora's parents who were very helpful.

We had the best stay in Nikolai’s beautiful cabin! The view from the front of the house is stunning and the living room was the best place to gather each day. We didn’t hire a car, but we found the bus stops to either side of the house really useful for travelling to Svelvik or Drammen. The house is the perfect location for access to the waterand you can walk down to the fjord in just a couple of minutes. The house was comfortable and well equipped and the log fire kept the house warm all night! A couple of things to mention - there is only one bathroom. It could perhaps do with updating, but it didn’t cause any issues for our group of 8. Also some of the beds are listed as double beds, but they are all single beds. This, again, didn’t cause any issues for us as we pushed them together but they did sometimes move apart. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area, it is stunning and we really didn’t want to leave. Thanks Nikolai!
