A classic New England BnB, conveniently located between Sunapee and New London. Listen, let’s talk about the breakfast. I have not stopped thinking about the blueberry pancakes Dennis made me. Oh, or the thick-cut bacon, coffee, homemade strawberry jam, picture-perfect eggs, or the MOST sublime potatoes replete with mushrooms, peppers, and perfectly charred onions. This stay is worth the breakfast alone. Trust.

Dear Mountain Fare Inn staff, Thank you so very much for accommodating myself and my now fiancé. Room #9 was absolutely perfect and beautiful for such the an occasion. The room was pristine, clean and we really got a kick out of the wood burning stove (which we used exclusively for the heat). We had a wonderful stay in a charming 1700s-era home, filled with historical features that made it warm and inviting. Our host, David, was exceptionally gracious, meeting us late in the evening and accommodating our request for breakfast to go, including options for my wife's lactose intolerance. I highly recommend David's inn.

I had a wonderful stay. The yoga room was peaceful and quiet. It rained for much of the time I was there, but the cool weather, the sound of the raindrops, and the natural landscape made it very relaxing. I liked the host, Catherine. She was kind, warm, welcoming, and had good energy. If I am in this area again, I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at the Inn! We were visiting family on Squam Lake, the Inn was a great location! Easy check in, clean, comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast. We won’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re visiting Holderness.

Claudia was an awesome host and very responsive. We had a good night stay in a nice private bedroom with private bathroom. We really appreciated her hospitality with breakfast food that was left out so kindly for us. Although it was such a brief stay on our road trip, we will consider staying here again in the future if we are in the area!

Phil's place is just as described -- comfortable, quiet, secluded, a real forest retreat -- and he is a gracious host. I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night stay and am already planning my next visit!

I wish I’d discovered Sue’s Inn earlier!! It’s such a wonderful and cozy experience. I met interesting people, some of which had been going to the Inn for more than a decade. The fire was very cozy and Sue’s breakfast was delicious. Sue was very welcoming and shared history about the area. Extremely reasonable prices, beautiful location, lovely host, and wonderful experience. I now own a place in N.H., but otherwise this would be my go to place!

Cranmore Mountain Lodge is a wonderful location. It was a short distance from the town. I loved the amenities and how friendly everyone that I interacted with was either over text or in person. I was asked in a text when I arrived if I had any food allergies for breakfast the following morning and I was honestly very impressed and appreciated of how Krista handled my food allergy to Gluten. She was very attentive not to put granola on my yogurt due to the fact that the packaging did not have a clear indicator of it being fully gluten free. My overall experience at CML was terrific and this will definitely be my go to spot to stay in North Conway.

Susan is one of those rarities you find out in travels with a welcoming demeanor, helpful suggestions and a person who creates a connection to the history of the place. That connection is to both the Inn you are staying at and the area you are staying in. She is a true Inn Keeper rather than someone who provides short term room rentals and there is a world of difference between those two types of people. Her kindness was endless and we really enjoyed her ability to connect and then take care of business. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtful including homemade dishes from local sources. Beds were comfortable, sitting areas were well supplied with games and books and rules were fairly and politely enforced so that all guests received the same great experience. One of our favorite all time stays!

The Inn has immediate beach access to by far the best view of Pleasant lake. The perfect place to unwind, take a moonlit walk onto the beach under the stars, warm up with tea by the fire, enjoy breakfast and slow coffees. Miss a flight and extend your stay. Amazing location and experience.

The Cranmore Mountain Lodge was a phenomenal place. It was the perfect place to relax after finishing a challenging hike! The breakfast in the morning was delicious.

This was our second stay and it was just as amazing as we remembered it. We love staying in the Cold River Room, we were so excited it was available for this trip too. It is perfect for a couple having a cozy trip. We also love the homemade breakfast that Wendy makes. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast, but the hosts make it even more special. We are already talking about taking our 3rd trip to see them. Thank you, His and Hers!

I can't say enough about Sue & Kinsman Lodge. She is the kindest person and has created a place where everyone who enters feels like home. Waking up to the smell of bacon, coffee and pancakes is heaven. Add to that peaceful and beautiful mountains and a great location to visit the region. I don't know how she does it all. I feel like I found a home away from home and look forward to my next visit.

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.

Wendy & Dean were wonderful hosts! We had a really late arrival and we were still greeted with a warm smile. Wendy’s breakfasts were delicious! And she kindly accommodated my dietary restrictions. The bathrooms and rooms were squeaky clean with plush fluffy towels and toiletries provided which was great. Beds were comfy cozy. Common areas were clean and plentiful with refreshments. The whole experience was way more than I expected! The grounds were gorgeous with a nice walk to the river. I felt welcomed, at home and comfortable in their beautiful space. Wendy & Dean were very accommodating and helpful in advising what to do in the local area. We really enjoyed spending time with them. I highly recommend His & Hers Farm and will definitely be back!

The place was great, very cozy and peaceful. The room and bathroom were perfect for a night getaway. bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great and Krista was kind enough to make mine to go. Definitely will be back!

Bjorn and Elaine are wonderful hosts of a beautiful, historic site. The house itself is rich with lovely historic details including wide plank floors that one would never see, old glass, incredible wood beams, and more. Bjorn and Elaine could not have been more welcoming and kind. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we find ourselves at the beautiful lake in the future. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed a tranquil weekend getaway! This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. We appreciate Krista and the positive energy she brings to the property and all the guests that stay. The Inn feels like a home. Krista is a talented artist and chef! My boyfriend and I can be picky eaters and I tell you we cleaned our plates of the most delicious breakfast both days. loved a cold jump in the pool as well!

The hosts were so nice! We weren’t there a whole lot because we had wedding things to do, but they were so welcoming and kind. Had a whole set up for breakfast, coffee, waters, etc and it was only my guest and I there. It made you feel really special. They gave us our space. We’re very attentive hosts. They offered for us to use the bonfires outside too! The history of the place was really cool. Each room downstairs had a working fireplace blazing and I wish I had time to sit down and cozy up with a book. They also gave us recommendations for trails near them and shopping suggestions. There wasn’t any Ubers in the area and the hosts actually gave us a recommendation for a car service, which came in clutch. First time staying in a bed and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be booking again at 6 Chimneys.

Windy and Dean were awesome hosts. It is such a blessing for them to share their little slice of heaven with others. The home, location, beautiful landscaping and delicious breakfast makes for a wonderful experience.
