Arriving and departing CalTrain's Palo Alto University Avenue station is easily done with a 10 minute walk. You really don't need a car but the driveway easily handles 3 cars. Inside, the living room has 14' ceilings with skylights. The guest room is fully furnished as are the kitchen and master bedroom.
