“My in-laws rented when they were visiting from out of the country. My mother-in-law’s review is below in Spanish. The place was wonderful - clean, cute, spacious - and Carol and her husband are great hosts. My kids had a fun time visiting with llamas and chickens. Carol ha sido una excelente anfitriona. Siempre cuidando los detalles. Lamentablemente por circunstancias ajenas a nosotros tuvimos que acortar nuestra estancia. Con seguridad regresaremos!”

“Laurie's house is beautiful, located on a hillside, very typical American people's house, clean, quiet, can see the stars of the sky, of course, there are several horses on the hillside, a group of very interactive chickens, There are two more dogs. The puppy can understand that I say sit down and I will look at me with surprise. Within 9 days of our stay, Laurie provided a lot of convenience and let us use a lot of equipment. Especially when my car accidentally knocked down the apple trees in the garden, Laurie's housekeepers helped me solve the problem in time, and simply repaired the car so that I could use the car for the next week. I didn't expect it. I hope I can rent Laurie's house when I go to Uconn to visit my son next time. Thank you very much!”
This special home with lake views from every room is newer construction with a nod to the traditional "lake camp"! It is constructed with the environment in mind. We have repurposed 100 year old barn wood floors throughout and the home is supported by solar power and geo-thermal heating and cooling. You may find us working on small projects as this has been a full time labor of love! If you have questions let us know. We live with a friendly, small dog, Max, an 11 year old Corgi mix.
“Cindy's hospitality was unmatched. I was coming up to spend time with a friend for her birthday and had no idea what to do for it and Cindy helped me with suggestions and the places were amazing! The stay was amazing. From all the little things she added to the room to make it so homey to the beautiful home she allowed us into. I would recommend Cindy's stay to anyone and everyone looking for a nice place on a lake. I definitely wanna go back soon. And her dog Max is so wonderful! Thank you again Cindy!”
