Lovely little cottage with beautiful outdoor area!

Merle's place was absolutely pet friendly! we loved the backyard, the patio area was beautiful.. it was indeed a good time, bbq'd and relaxed the whole long weekend! big backyard space for the little ones to play in and for the fur babies (separate areas too) It was clean, everything that we needed (and forgot to bring) we found at her place! I loved that the cleaning stuff were available for the guests to utilize. Vacationing with toddlers can get really messy, that's when proper cleaning supplies come in handy! It was a short walk to Victoria Park (with splash pad), short walk to little downtown (happened that there was a fair on the weekend of our stay! was a bonus). Also, we just walked down the beach, enjoyed the peaceful vibe and some ice cream. Highly recommend Merle's place for those who are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing and peaceful stay in a small town...

Great host!! Jyoti was always quick to respond and gave us plenty of information to help us find things to do in a small town. The home was beautifully cozy with snow, beautiful view of the lake and a toasty wood burning fireplace. We had a great stay. Thank you Jyoti aka SUPER HOST!!

This was our second year at Carrie and Dan's cottage and once again my family and I had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly situated on the river with a nice beach and it has all of the amenities needed. Dan communicated regularly and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. This is a beautiful property which anyone would have fun at.

My brother, father and I really enjoyed staying at the loft! Valentine provided us with everything we could have asked for and more. We will definitely be recommending this space to our friends and family :)

My first Airbnb experience - and it was amazing. The home was perfect and in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. The host was supportive, VERY responsive. Home was clean, easily accessible, and comfortable for my entire family. When I return to Kitchener, I will be staying here (assuming available). 10/10 - 5 stars. My entire family loved it during an important week (daughter's graduation).

Beautiful porch, peaceful property surrounded by trees and open space. Loved the indoor fireplace also. Especially for those dog guardians who prefer a bit more space and privacy for their dogs, and away from other potential triggers (other dogs, car/foot traffic, etc), a wonderful space for dogs.

We had a great time at Stonewood. The cottage is large, 4 bedrooms each with an ensuite. The cottage is large with high ceilings and a loft. It is well-heated and the kitchen was nice and well- equipped.

We chose Cullan’s property as it was close to a wedding venue nearby. We stayed 2 nights to be able to relax and enjoy the property amenities before the event. We did just that. While it was late in the season, (October) we were lucky to enjoy very temperate weather. It’s located out in the countryside, pastoral and lovely to walk the country roads. The host family was very friendly and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is exactly what we are looking for. Very cozy and quiet, nice hikes and most of all, the amazing animals. The girls spent hours hanging out with the horses and the pigs. Our time here was very memorable. There are amazing hikes nearby, small towns like Markdale and Flasherton and both have small restaurants, shops and cafes. John and Andrea are simply great! They are extremely kind and generous with their time. Excellent advice all the time, great conversations and will offer anything to make our stay more enjoyable. John let us help with the daily shores and feeding the animals. He also gave us excellent ideas for hikes, local attractions, etc. We are really looking forward to going there again next spring or summer.

Beautiful cabins in a family owned place. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We have been here multiple times past with our family and friends.

Me and my family had a great time at Faran's place. The place is great and Faran is very responsive. I hadn't read all of the instructions carefully before and only saw belatedly that there were instructions on how to get into the parking garage that required us to send them my licence plate. Faran responded immediately to my belatedly sent request. The place itself was perfect for our stay. The place itself is very light and has a great view. The furniture is pretty, the kitchen is clean and looks great, and has everything one needs. The place is a good combination of cozy and fancy. My family was impressed. :) The two bathrooms were very helpful. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. We really had everything we needed. My mom also commented positively on the AC and being able to control it easily, as she's not used to ACs. As this was a family vacation, we also really appreciated the privacy of the place. Getting in was really easy. Can recommend this place wholeheartedly!

We had a great weekend. This is not the kind of place some airbnbs have become -- a hotel experience. Instead it had an authenticity and humility that we loved. The horses and other animals were fantastic, and the space was very comfortable. We would love to go back again.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city hustle and found exactly what we needed at this property. It was beautiful inside and out and we truly felt like we were secluded and alone (finally!) Inside the cottage was clean, bright, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The yard is completely private and surrounded by trees but still allows for full days of sunshine. The pool was bigger than we expected and was perfect for lazy float days. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

We struggled to find a place for our group of 17 and Stonehaven was an amazing find! The beds were comfortable, we loved being able to have meals all together in one spot, and there was lots of space for people to do different activities inside since it was winter. Outside, we enjoyed tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the property. Steve was quick to communicate and provided clear instructions and maps. We were already talking about going back so we can enjoy the property in the summer! Thank you for a memorable and fun weekend!

We enjoyed the May long weekend with my mother-in-law and two teenage kids. The space was perfect for enjoying meals together, playing some games, enjoying the hot-tub and the fire pit. Our dog enjoyed the large backyard. We enjoyed going into Goderich and Grand Bend to browse the markets and the location was reasonable for both. Was a great place to unwind and make memories. Definitely would recommend to others.

there is nothing like a beautiful spring weekend here! Lots of fresh eggs and asparagus spears were provided by Nancy (plenty to take home too!) and climate control was perfect inside the church for the hot days and cold nights. The outdoor space is gorgeous and we had a great time riding our bikes and exploring the nearby towns.

This place is a real gem that we just happened upon and I still can’t believe how well it fit for a family. It has everything, it’s super close to the town and it’s super quiet. We loved it.

Great little place. very lovely stay. only down fall is too many spiders but that is not the hosts fault. loved the private yard and very close to the beach. Michael gave great suggestion on places to go.

Leah was an excellent host! The A-frame cabin was exactly as described and pictured. When we encountered an unexpected cold snap during our stay with our cats, Leah was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help us out. Her quick communication and willingness to accommodate made all the difference. The cabin itself is charming and we'd definitely consider staying again. Highly recommend Leah as a host - she truly cares about her guests' comfort and experience.

Amazing spot! If you are looking to get away from the city and just want to unwind this is the place to go. Very peaceful and the host is excellent. Very unique log cabin. Had a great get away with the boys. Highly recommend!

My girlfriends and I had the most wonderful time at Dumitru's cottage! It was very spacious and clean, and the porch is right on the water, so the view is always spectacular. Dumitru was very responsive and accommodating, we felt right at home. Thank you Dumitru!

What a sweet and cozy place...very neat and clean! It was perfect for us! We enjoyed walking the property...a little paradise, so peaceful. Heidi, Rudy, and their friendly dog were gracious hosts. We hope to return soon.
