It is private to only your group! The downstairs with all it offers, is for one or two person stays. The upstairs becomes available if you enter 3 or more people. Our 1840’s renovated grist mill is located in the beautiful Monadnock Region. The house and cottage are situated on twelve acres and includes gardens, an orchard, berry bushes, grape vines, beehives, a dog, and a tremendous waterfall. We are close to many of nature’s gems including Mount Monadnock, Pack Monadnock, the Heald Tract hiking trails, skiing, snowshoeing and swimming. Also the acclaimed MacDowell Arts Center, Andy’s Summer Playhouse, Andres Institute of Art and the Waldorf Schools.

Hubbardston is a quaint little town with no stop-lights yet conveniently located to many beautiful hiking trails, fishing spots and lakes. 10 minutes from route 2 and 15 minutes from Mt Wachusetts.

Escape to the Lake!

Relax with family or friends at this little slice of heaven directly on Sunset Lake. The west facing views make the lake live up to its name. We purchased this home in fall 2023 so all furniture, paint and fixtures are relatively new! While this home is outdoor living at its best, we do have WiFi and TV for those who want it. There are 2 kayaks for use as well as a covered hot tub with lake views. You can walk into the shallow water from shore and jump off the dock with ease.

Upon arriving to this camp with a view, you will instantly be met with the calmness of the dirt road, the breeze over the mountains, the rustling of the leaves, the sound of geese, and a faint smell of fire from the outdoor fire pit. Use this camp as your escape from reality, if only for a weekend! Older home from 1928, the camp has it's quirks!
