Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala. With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Unique accommodation on houseboat central Uppsala

Here you have the chance to stay centrally in Uppsala close to sights and many restaurants. Walking distance to Uppsala Central Station. The houseboat is located in Fyrisån at Stadsparken. The boat is equipped with simpler bathroom with shower cubicle and separate toilet. Kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer and oven/microwave. The beds are distributed in a 120 cm bed and 160 cm in the sleeping loft as well as an extra mattress. On the deck, you can sit under the parasol and enjoy the city's pulse. The boat also works in winter and you can enjoy a wood-burning stove.

Waterfront house rentals

Unique boathouse from the early 1900s with 10 metres to a private beach and jetty. The house has a shower, toilet, simple kitchenette, wood-burning stove and wood-fired sauna. An oasis for those who appreciate quality of life and don't want to live in the centre. The sleeping loft has two mattresses directly on the floor and is accessed via a ladder. The ceiling is low, so here you have to embrace your inner cat and crawl smoothly towards the mattresses 😊 Cosy, charming and not for those who want to stretch out fully in bed😉 Sheets and towels are included.

Your own cabin by the lake

Relax in this unique and peaceful accommodation right by the lake. You come here to enjoy nature. Enjoy a morning or evening swim from the jetty 30 metres away, which you share with the landlords who live in the large house a little further up. Take a trip on the lake or a walk in the forest right outside the door. Nearby, you will find the Fjällnora outdoor recreation area, and if you want to go into town, it is about 20 minutes to the city of Uppsala, where you will find all the restaurants and shopping you could imagine.

Bedroom, heated sauna by the sea

My guest house consists of a bedroom and a wood-burning sauna. Lovely balcony and outdoor shower. In the 15 sqm cottage there is a toilet, sink, fridge, microwave, porcelain, coffee press and kettle for easier cooking. On the deck, there is a gas grill. Wonderful waterfront views. Sun all day and magical sunsets. Suitable for two people, and if you appreciate sauna and swimming, this will be perfect. Located on the island of Tranholmen, where you can go by ferry 80 from Ropsten, 1/11-15/4 via footbridge from Stocksund.

Small cozy guesthouse near lake.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Apartment 15 minutes from the city center

Relax with family or friends in this peaceful accommodation in a separate building, an apartment built above the garage. There's only one neighbour, and from your patio, all you see is nature, but it's just a 15-minute drive to the centre. You can walk to the bus stop in 15 minutes, where there are three different buses to the centre that run very frequently. If you don’t have your own car, an Uber to the city centre only costs around AUD 130. Free parking right in front of the apartment,

The area is one of Uppsala's most attractive, where you are close to everything the city has to offer

Cozy private apartment in Årsta, Uppsala. Separate entrance, free parking, WiFi, Netflix, full kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Sleeps 4 adults + 2 kids in 3 bedrooms. Located 20m from a park with playgrounds, 5 min walk to forest, 15 min walk to supermarket & health center. Peaceful area, though some noise from upstairs may occasionally be heard. Note: access is via a staircase down, not suitable for guests with mobility limitations.
