The estate is superb and Darleen and Lieven are great people (as already described in several traveler reviews) with whom we have become friends. It's a good place to stay at Quinta das Camélias, surrounded by nature with a large swimming pool, fruit trees and many activities within an hour's drive that Lieven and Darleen will advise you on. The place has a very pleasant microclimate because the high temperatures of the day drop quite well in the evening which allows you to sleep well without the need for air conditioning.

We spent the weekend as a family and the house was perfect! We loved it 😊 From the comfort of the outdoor space, to all the details of the house's decoration. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are great in size and the barbecue area is amazing! Carlos' communication and friendliness made the experience 10/10!

The stay was wonderful! Everything perfect, Carlos is a great host, always respond quickly and was super kind to us. We were in 8 and the house holds super well, has all the utensils, super-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. And the view of the garden with the pool is really as beautiful as in the pictures! We will definitely be staying in this house again! Thank you, Carlos :)

Country House - Quinta das 3 Nogueiras (Three Walnut Trees Farm)

We are a missionary family visiting disciples in Santarem. This home was perfect for our family and was so comfortable. There is plenty of space. Has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need supplied. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, plenty of pots and pans, local olive oil and spices. Bedrooms have a heater that is great for the cool nights but we really didn't need to use it so much as the blankets kept us warm. 2 fireplaces with all the firewood provided. Two bathrooms with showers, clean, soft towels, plenty of hot water for all of us. An outside bbq and pizza oven also available but we didn't use on this trip. Plenty of parking and beautiful trees. Less than 20 minutes to Santarem. We would definitely stay here again. It is such a beautiful place even on rainy days. We loved it!
