If you're looking for a home from home, then this is the villa for you and your family/friends! This amazing spotlessly clean property is large, light and airy located up in the hills of Leiria and had everything we needed (the kitchen was extremely well equipped!!) to make our stay very comfortable. There was an assortment of games at our disposal (both indoors and outdoors) for all the family to enjoy....and we did! 🙂 The villa is a short drive from Leiria town which has a very large supermarket, shops and restaurants. Our host Luis kindly left us a selection of local fresh cakes for us upon arrival. He was very quick to respond to any queries we had, and before our arrival sent us lots of useful recommendations on restaurants, places to go etc. We highly recommend this accommodation and the very welcoming hospitality. We had a great time at all times; I was traveling with two elderly people and both the access to the house (being able to leave the car at the door) and the access to the bathroom and shower made things much easier for us. And Claudia's service was excellent, she responded quickly to my inquiries and we ate at a restaurant recommended by her that was great. Thank you

We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

We had a fantastic break at this beautiful place steeped in history. The views and walks were breathtaking. It was everything we wanted for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were lovely and so helpful in escorting us to the property and explaining how everything worked. Thank you so much.
