The kamara

Our guest house,"The Kamara", is located in the peaceful village of Neohori in Westernmani. Only a five minute drive from the sandy beaches of Kalogria and Stoupa (a car is recommended), and with a backdrop of the Taygetos mountains, the traditional village has two bakeries, two cafenions, a minimarket, and a taverna. The house is fully equipped. Upstairs is a kitchen and living room with a double sofa bed. Downstairs, in a traditional Kamara with vaulted ceiling, is the bedroom and en-suite.

Το παραδοσιακό αυτό σπίτι των 200 περίπου χρόνων βρίσκεται στο χωριό Πολιανή της Μεσσηνίας σε ύψος 680 μέτρων στην αγκαλιά του Ταϋγέτου. Ιστορικά η Πολιανή έχει καταγεγραμμένους μέχρι και σήμερα πάνω από 45 βυζαντινούς ναούς ενώ σώζεται από τη Βυζαντινή περίοδο ο ναός Κοιμήσεως της Θεοτόκου με αξιόλογες τοιχογραφίες του 12ου αιώνα.

Das Haus Chaliki ist Teil eines Neubaus bestehend aus vier Reihenhäusern. Dieses aus Stein gebaute Eckhaus liegt sehr ruhig, etwas abseits vom Ort Poulithra und hat keinen Durchgangsverkehr. Der wunderschöne Strand der St. George Bucht ist nur 60 Meter Fussweg entfernt. Alle Häuser haben einen eigenen Eingang und sind in eine Parkanlage mit alten Olivenbäumen eingebettet. Von überall her hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf das Meer.
