Great host and great setting. Access to the beautiful back yard, kids gym, gazebo, firepit, grill and covered patio. The basement has large windows in the bedrooms and queen beds. Located 8 minutes from King’s Daughters Hospital and 30 minutes from Huntington, WV hospitals. Long term travel workers welcome.

The Silo Creek Cabin

My girlfriend and I have done three Airbnb stays, and this was by far our favorite. The place was pristine, the location was amazing, and the cabin itself was exactly as described in the images. Shane left out a basket with s’mores, extra toothbrushes/shaving cream, robes, and pretty much whatever else we would have needed. The only issue that ever came up was a local internet outtage, entirely random, and even then Shane communicated the issue to me both when it occurred and when it was resolved. If you’re looking for a private stay far away from city noise, surrounded by nature, and with an incredible host who helps with stuff even outside of his own control, this cabin is the place to stay.

Lafe and Mary were wonderful! Mary came down and greeted us and she is so sweet! every time we had a question we texted and had an immediate answer. The home is beautiful and the view is stunning! We had a family get together there and it worked out wonderfully! The kitchen is so equipped you will need nothing! the beds were all very comfortable. The game room in the basement was wonderful for my 7-year-old grandson! We would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our stay, it was just what we needed. we relaxed and walked all around. We got rained on during our walk and it was still relaxing. The house was nice and peaceful had everything we needed. We also got to meet Karen on one of our walks and she was very friendly. We saw goats, horses and cows on our walks. Kellye was an exceptional host, who was quick to respond, understanding, and very friendly. The location itself is beautiful, set back on a hill right off a main road. It is a quiet, quaint little home with everything you’d need for a stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at her location, and I will be staying here for any return trips.
