What a great spot to stay near Góis. Its small but it has everything you may need besides a perfect location near the river. Tomé is a fantastic host and give us lots of great tips.

We as a group of 8 people and 4 furry friends had an amazing time at Casa Toupeira, the check-in was flawless and the house was perfect to spend a relaxed couple of days during the New Year’s Eve, our dogs loved the extra outdoor space and that was what really stood out in the first place in the booking process. The cozy rooms with AC heating an fully equiped kitchen were perfect and the to top it of a great hosting experience with Jolanda that always kept being responsive and attentive, will surely recommend and possibly come back for other occasions.

The villa is amazing! Plenty of bedrooms with storage and enough space. Numerous bathrooms. Very spacious living and dining. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, utensils, toaster, etc.) The playroom is a huge plus for rainy days. The pool is cold, but perfect for cooling off, and once in it is lovely. We had a great vacation at this amazing house! There are beautiful river beaches nearby, beautiful viewpoints too. You have to love calm and nature because there are no big cities within an hour (the closest is Coimbra) but supermarkets 5 min away for shopping;) The house is 1.5 hours from Porto and 2.5 hours from Lisbon, ideal for a day trip:) Thanks to Karen and her spouse for hosting us:) You can book without a second thought!

I booked this place for two nights with my 13 year old daughter, it was truly magical. You have everything you need to feel connected with nature but not to miss on any of your needs to feel comfortable, we have recommended the accommodation already to many of our friends...the best thing about this place was the light that comes in trough all of the windows, it is magical and uplifting. You will find rest, connection, silence and a lovely house dog that comes over for cuddles! We will come again!
