We had a wonderful stay at John's place. He communicated thoroughly with us and was very kind and responsive. The house was larger than we expected and very cozy. Everything was clean and well organized. The location of the house is great, the shops are walkable, the area is safe, and the house has a beautiful view of the sea. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to families. We had three adults, my 6 year old son and my infant daughter with us and it was the perfect size.

Wow what a beautiful place!! It felt so homely and had everything you needed and more. The cabin itself is tastefully decorated and very clean but just under the sofa cushions someone had left sweets and the bunk beds were very squeaky and swayed but I’ve reported these things to Laura as she is not based on site. The area was super peaceful. There is a kids park, a great tennis court and basketball court but unfortunately there was nowhere to access equipment to use so if you are into this take some with you. There was no reception, or convenience shop and the cafe/restaurant on site wasn’t open (probably is during peak times). There is a Centra in Moville and Laura kindly recommended restaurants just 10minutes down the road and they did not disappoint. The communication from Laura was first class and we were just sorry we were not staying longer. It’s an ideal spot to travel round Inishowen and the beach across the road was an added bonus. We will be back. +++AAA

We had a great stay. Bungalow was excellent with plenty of space. Well located for walks and as i had my dog with me, plenty of places to explore. Definitely recommend Bayview Hotel for a meal and breakfast in the dog friendly Bilberry Mill cafe in Bushmills is a must. Lovely walk into Bushmills by the old railway line which you access from Bushfoot golf club. Weather wasn't good enough to use the veranda, but it would be great when weather warmer. Well located to explore North Coast.

Very enjoyable stay for a group. The beds were very comfortable. Design was thoughtful and usable with place to hang things, surfaces for placing things, and open space to settle in. It’s a quick, walkable distance to town. The hill is steep so not advisable for those with mobility issues, but we appreciated the exercise.

me and my partner had our wedding at the location and it couldn't have been more perfect a location, everything was exactly as described and the place was spotless, a great range of amenities and utensils to use, when we arrived we noticed the fire pit gas can was empty so we phoned john the host and he sorted the issue immediately and was so friendly when he came to do so, would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a nice intimate quiet location with stunning views. thanks for a great stay john.

This was our third stay at Davenport Cottage, and it certainly won't be our last! Each time, Alan and Jennifer have made us feel incredibly welcome. The cottage is comfortable, inviting, and truly feels like a home away from home. Wow! This place is truly a hidden gem! Absolutely beautiful cottage with AMAZING views! Everything was so clean! Beds were so comfy! Debbie left a sweet welcome basket and very yummy mini cakes! She also communicated VERY quickly when in touch about our upcoming stay. She even communicated with us regarding who a particular artist was for the puffin painting so we could order one!I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Wonderful find! Only wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you for sharing with us Debbie!

Karen is the most wonderful host. She went above and beyond in every way, from before we arrived, right up until the last day. Couldn’t have asked for more and she ensured we had the most lovely stay. Daisy cabin was clean, spacious and absolutely perfect for our 10 day break on Islay. The log burner made every evening feel special and the wood-fired hot tub was a real treat, particularly as it was tucked away with a view of the pine wood. The grounds of the cabin are restful and private and overlook a field where we saw white-tailed sea eagles, lapwings, hares and deer. At night we had the sound of a tawny owl keeping us company. Lovely memories of staying at the cabin. It helped to make a perfect honeymoon. Thank you Karen :-)

The beach house was excellent! It is close to everything we needed and places to see. Christine was very responsive and didn't hesitate to answer any question even late at night. We walked to the beach and the views were spectacular. This beach house is top notch and so worth it!

Our groups second visit to the cottage bunkhouse . It’s a perfect fit for a small group . Everything you need to explore this corner of Mull. Close to Fionnphort, Iona ferry and nearby beaches. Rachel is a great host and makes everything simple and on hand if you need advice / help. Looking forward to going back again next year .

Had a lovely couple of days at the cosy cabin to celebrate my partners birthday. Agnes was very helpful and communication was great. She had put up some lovely birthday decorations which made the surprise even better. Thank you again. The cabin has everything we needed and had some lovely walks near by and brilliant views. The hot tub was brilliant and was nice after a long day exploring. Thank you again.

We had such an amazing stay at Tangy Lodge. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. On arrival the house was exactly as described. It was beautiful inside and extremely clean. They have thought of everything that would be needed for a short stay. We can’t recommend it enough and hope to come back soon!

Achnaha is a beautiful house. Lots of space and stunning views. The accommodation is flexible, we were a family of four with another couple and all had plenty of space. Our dog loved the garden. Lots of things to do, particularly loved our trip to Gigha! Would highly recommend. Thank you Kim 😀

We loved our stay at Joan’s place! It was incredibly convenient for the causeway coast marathon finish the apartment was lovely, and had all the amenities you could ever ask for. All the rooms were impeccable and very clean and cozy. definitely will stay there again, Joan was very responsive about parking and about us bringing our little dog along.

We really enjoyed our week at Sweet Retreat, despite the unseasonal July downpours and thunderstorms. The house is very centrally located in Portballintrae, the beach, harbour and Bayview are all within a 5 minute walk. The house was perfect for three adults and two kids, with plenty of space for them to play while we relaxed. Simon was a great host from start to finish, he made the whole process very easy. We hope to return.

Very cosy cottage in a beautiful, quiet location. The cottage had everything we needed. Nice views out to the sea from the big windows. To the back of the house, views out to the farm with sheep, lambs and rabbits running around. We drove all over Islay during our stay so, although the cottage is fairly remote, it doesn’t take long to access other parts of the island. Plenty of wildlife to spot, we saw eagles on more than one occasion, but unfortunately no otters. Particularly enjoyed the trip up to the American memorial, distillery tours, trip to Jura for the day (warning - you have to reverse on to the small ferry!), Finlaggan and the Oyster Shed. There are a lot of single track roads to negotiate and some of the surfaces are quite rough but we found it to be part of the adventure. Enjoy the peace and quiet. We had a great time.

We had a lovely stay in Hamilton House. The house is very spacious with amazing views. It's a lovely, short walk into Port Ellen for the shops and places to eat. The sheep in the field in front of the house and the visiting deer certainly kept us entertained!
