Unique mountain cabin on your own island!

Experience the mountain at this unique and peaceful family cabin. The cottage is beautifully situated on a separate island in Otrøvatnet at Filefjell. It was built in the late 50s and has traditional style, but has running water and electricity. The cabin has a practical space with large living room with fireplace and dining area, kitchen, hallway, four bedrooms, bathroom with shower and bathtub and separate toilet. Outdoor house with sauna. There is also a charcoal grill, fire pit, rowboat, fishing equipment, games and some children's toys. There is about 10 minutes to walk on the path from parking.

Cozy cottage at Torolmen in the south of Jotunheimen

Cabin at Torolmen. Have you can enjoy everything the mountain has to offer of hiking , swimming, ice bathing in the winter. In winter it is possible to buckle skis right outside the cabin. Fishing with a fishing license. Here you can enjoy nature in peace and quiet. In the summer, there is a road down to the cabin. In winter 50 meters to walk from car and down. The cabin has no running water but leaves 20 L with water. Can also get water in Torolmen . Cabin shower in summer. The cabin comes with bed linens. About 20 minutes to the store. Cheerful cabin by Tyin with a view into Jotunheim

Recharge your batteries in amazing surroundings! At the shore of Tyin you have a view right into Jotunheimen. If you are lucky, you wake up to the grouse that cackles on the outside of the cabin and maybe you drink your morning coffee while watching the reindeer on the outside. You live in the middle of the action with endless hiking possibilities. In the summer you can drive all the way up to the cabin. In winter you cannot get to the cabin by car. It takes about 1/2 hour to go skiing depending on the weather conditions. It is also possible to book scooter transport.

At Tyin Panorama, high mountains and sauna, max 7 people!

New and modern apartment (2024) with lovely sauna! Amazing views of Jotunheimen and great hiking opportunities in summer and winter. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the apartment building. It has two bedrooms, bathroom with sauna and a cozy living room with sofa bed (140 cm). Hallway and bathroom with heating cables. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for washing up and cooking. The balcony has a seating area and a lovely view of Tyinvannet. Nice randone opportunities right from the apartment. Parking possibility in the basement.

Cozy apartment on Filefjell for rent

The apartment is located on Nystuen on Filefjell, about 970 meters above sea level. Here you have a lit of activities with access to the entire Jotunheimen, summer and winter. great and easy terrain to hike in. The apartment is located just off the Otrøvannet where it is popular to fish in the summer and kite in the winter. The ski tracks run right outside the building and you have access on miles of trails. It is also nice to go mountain skiing in the area and a short way to the ski resort.

New cozy cottage just a few meters from the ski slope. 8 beds. - 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms, bathtub/shower. Bright and cozy kitchen and living room w/high under the roof, with good views. Great hiking opportunities! 3 parkings. Large terrace + balcony. Very good utg.pkt. for trips at all levels, both strolls and mountain hikes - at the entrance gate to Jotunheimen.
