Cabin holiday rentals in Årdal

Perfect stay to get away from the busy daily world. The only thing we heard while sitting outside in the jacuzzi, was the chirping of birds. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, and it's very close to beautiful walking spots.

Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

We had a great stay. This is a beautiful and spacious house with a gorgeous view. We stayed for one night as a stop over on our way to the National Park.

What an amazing location. The views from both inside and outside were stunning. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed apart. It was very quiet but with easy access to the main road. Would happily recommend to anyone.

Do yourself a favor, stop looking at other places and book this cabin. This was probably the best valued B&B I've ever stayed in. The cabin is wonderful and the host was great with communication but the reason you come is the hot tub with one of the most beautiful views in Norway. I honestly don't think I'll ever find a better hot tub due to that view. Per undersells this place which is great for us, hopefully it stays this way so we can continue to afford coming. My wife and I got to have really a perfect ending to our month long tour of northern Europe due to this B&B. Thanks again Per! Last note: the driveway is steep and I do suggest a 4WD vehicle to make you feel more comfortable going up and down however Per said other vehicles have done it without a problem.

We had a lovely time in the cabin. The area is stunning and peaceful. The cabine is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to disconnect and recharge.

We had a great stay at Nils cabin! Very cute space and the cabin had everything you could need. Nils was a great host and gave us very detailed instructions for checking in and helpful information about the space. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Great cabin with good amenities including well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy and of good quality. Good instructions for arrival and departure, so we felt well received/taken care of. Numerous opportunities for short and longer trips, both on a gravel road, trail and in steep terrain. We would gladly came back

Very nice house in the best location, many possibilities for hiking directly from the house. The host was always available and very helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a marvellous time at Turi‘s place. It‘s very quiet, cosy and clean. We instantly felt at home and enjoyed the surrounding nature.

Kjartan's place was absolutely amazing. 😀 The cottage was small, comfortable, cozy and clean, with a nice decor that allowed space for many people. The location was extremely peaceful and beautiful, with mountain and river view. There was a large patio where you could make a fire and barbecue, which we did several evenings. A stream flowed through the garden, and the sound was incredibly soothing. Even though there was no running water, it made the experience even more authentic, and we could easily retrieve water from the creek in the garden. The place is located in one of the most beautiful surroundings, around the Sognefjord and between both Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen. There is plenty of waterfalls, glaciers, stave churches and beautiful hiking trails everywhere. Kjartan was an excellent host. Positive and committed, he gave us lots of tips, checked how we were doing and responded quickly to our questions. I can highly recommend Kjertan's cottage and will really miss this beautiful gem. 💙

Cozy cabin with equipment that you need. Everything worked.

Thomas’ cabin is a beautiful home in an equally beautiful spot. Magnificent views, quiet, peaceful, and with the company of the grazing sheep, it was even more special. Great location for our family of five to get good access to Yotunheimen and all it has to offer. Thomas was super responsive and provided great insight and ideas for the local area. Can easily recommend it to others.

We had a great New Year's holiday at the house in the snow and cold just as we wanted. The kids had a lot of fun on the hill even though the lift was closed. The house is spacious and very well appointed, so there was room for both relaxation, cooking, games and coziness. We give our best recommendations.

We loved the lovely cabin on a great location. The kitchen is full of comforts with a cozy sitting area by the stove. The instructions received in advance were extensive and clear. We received a quick response to questions. The bed was too soft for us, but that is of course something very personal.

Very great cabin in beautiful surroundings. Lots of hiking opportunities. Convenient with shop that is not far away. The cabin was spacious, well equipped, clean and neat. Nice and good communication with the host. Thanks for us!

Great place and a great host - we will be back.

The cabin is free and with very nice view. There are ski-in/ski-out from the cabin and the cross country trails go right behind. Cozy cabin with very good standards. We would gladly came again.

We were a family of 5 on a winter holiday. We had plenty of space with all facilities. The cabin was great and had everything you needed, warm and well inside when we arrived. It was nice since it was very cold outside when we were there. Nicely located in relation to the slopes, especially if you went cross-country skiing or the mountains. A little further away to the ski lift, but possible ski-in/ski-out with older children. We had a great time and would love to come back here!

Absolutely loved this place, mainly for the feeling of adventure. The track was closed and covered with deep snow from the bridge by the main road (E16) so had to trek 1.5km with snowshoes. Well worth it as none of the other cabins were occupied and I had the whole valley to myself. The cabin was perfect, rustic but comfortable. Plenty of firewood in the shed and the log burner was great for melting ice for water. Solar electricity provided lights and the gas hob was fine for cooking. it had everything I needed and the frozen, silent, starry night was one I will always remember with pleasure. Thank you
