Kerames South Crete - Akonize

JohannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at Vasilis’ stone house. Nestled in nature and surrounded by an olive grove, it’s the perfect place to disconnect and relax. Every morning we woke up to the sounds of cicadas, birds and a distant sheep herd, a magical experience. The terrace is sheltered from the wind and even when the weather gets a bit cooler, it’s still warm enough to spend plenty of time outside in the hammocks and deck chairs. The house is beautifully secluded in an area completely untouched by mass tourism, which we really appreciated. Wi-fi still works well if needed. Within a 15–20 minute drive, you’ll find lovely beaches with both sand and stones. The house itself is warm, not damp at all, and we slept comfortably, there were plenty of blankets and towels. When it is very windy outside, some earplugs might be useful, but most nights were very calm. Communication with Vasilis was excellent, he was very reliable, responded quickly, uncomplicated check in/out. Highly recommended!

Traditional house overlooking the Libyan Sea.

AnthonyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I will start by saying this that the instructions and information that Pavlos gave were excellent and he was an excellent host. The house was excellent, decorated beautifully and equipped with everything we needed and with quality items. The balcony is excellent with its sea and Mountain views catching the sunset over a nearby church and olive grove was very atmospheric. Kerames is a great tradition small village in the hills and still mainly occupied by local people. The 2 tavernas in the centre offer great traditional food at a very reasonable price. The maze of picturesque alleyways gives Kerames a very traditional feel. In the area of the house are many excellent beaches. The famous Preveli and trio Petra beaches are close by and a little further away are the beaches of Plakias Damnoni , Ammoudi, Kalypso and many more. Plakias and Agia Galini are both great days out and have good supermarkets. This house was excellent, the location was excellent get a car to explore 👍

Stone house "Angela" at peaceful Triopetra

JanaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A beautiful place, very clean and Panos is a very nice host! Everything was exactly as described, the kitchen super equipped. You almost always hear the bells or the mowing of the sheep. The place is about 15min drive from the next larger road, we were still out every day. It was only 2 minutes by car to the small Triopetra beach. The next tavernas weren't open yet, but Panos still had great recommendations for us.

Old Stone House

Tomasz WiesławRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I highly recommend the apartment of Ginter and Anet to anyone who wants to live in a renovated old Cretan house. The apartment has all the necessary amenities (even more) and from the terrace there is a beautiful view of the beaches of Ligres and Triopetra. Also the village of Kerames where the apartment is located is a typical quiet peaceful and charming place. Local Kafeino is worth recommending where in addition to coffee you can eat typical homemade Cretan food. Once again we recommend the apartment with all our hearts. Best regards Aneta and Tomek 🌞

OFFER! Villa close to a farm, mountains and beach.

DominiqueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accommodation is fantastically quiet on the edge of a small village. Eleftheria and her husband and son were very friendly and helpful and always available. The whole house was really very clean. We were there for 3 weeks with a baby and child. During this time, the house was even cleaned twice, which we did not expect. The pool is a great size to really swim in. On the day of arrival, Eleftheria had cooked a moussaka for us, there was delicious cake and pastries from her favorite bakery in between. The area has unexpectedly much to offer, we have made many excursions that were barely 20 minutes away by car. We could spend many days at Preveli Beach. On the way there, there were many beautiful beaches without a single person. The nearest village with shops and taverns is a 30-minute walk away. We felt very comfortable. We would love to come back.

Villa Stephania Agios Pavlos Triopetra Apartment

Georg welcomed us very well to his home, with very good tips to make the most of the place. The view from the accommodation is incredible, and the place is really quiet and peaceful — perfect for resting. The accommodation was very clean, and we really appreciated the little attention of the cake on our departure, thank you again! A small point to note: access is via winding roads, so it is better to arrive during the day. Thanks a lot for a great stay!

House Aggeliki Jetted Tub

StefanosRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Where to begin with how wonderful this home is? Kiddos is a lovely and peaceful village, seemingly other worlds away from the general tourist hustle and bustle. The restaurant steps away serves amazing traditional fare with an excellent view over the valley and under the shady leaves of the plane tree. We enjoyed trips to nearby towns, such as Spili, rivers, and waterfalls. The festivals and live music in the area were excellent. The house itself was lovely. First and foremost was the hospitality. Christos, Aggeliki, and Mr. Stephanie we're so kind. The fridge was well stocked with fresh fruit when we arrived. It was wonderful to eat fresh grapes from the trellis while enjoying our lovely view and our kids enjoyed the hot tub. Using the grill made for great evenings at home and we were seemlessly able to connect and watch Netflix in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious and perfectly located.
