Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο Elia House! Το σπίτι ήταν πεντακάθαρο, πολύ περιποιημένο και ακριβώς όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες μοντέρνο και άνετο . Από την πρώτη στιγμή νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ βολική για εξορμήσεις στην περιοχή και επιπλέον βρίσκεται δίπλα από την παραλία που είναι προσβάσιμη με τα πόδια και είναι όλο αμμουδιά. Εμείς επισκεφτήκαμε την παραλία, την Αρχαία Ολυμπία που είναι σε πολύ κοντινή απόσταση, πήγαμε βόλτα στον Καϊάφα και απολαύσαμε τη φύση. Ακόμη, υπάρχουν αρκετά χωριά και ταβερνάκια για ωραίο φαγητό και χαλάρωση στην γύρω περιοχή. Η Georgia, η οικοδέσποινα, ήταν πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική καθώς ήταν πάντα πρόθυμη να μας βοηθήσει με ότι χρειαστήκαμε. Γενικά, ήταν μια υπέροχη εμπειρία και σίγουρα θα ξαναπάμε μιας και είναι μόλις 3 ώρες από την Αθήνα.Το προτείνουμε σε όποιον θέλει μια ήρεμη και όμορφη διαμονή στην Ηλεια και να επισκευθεί την Αρχαία Ολυμπία.

Very comfortable, gorgeous apartment near the centre of a gloriously beautiful town. We were really able to relax in this village before the end of our month in Greece. Highlight was the monastery of St John the Baptist, a truely, (and slightly unexpected for me, ) spiritual experience! Afterwards we swam in the cold, utterly clear waters of the nearby river. Highly recommend Theta and Stemnitsa .

We had a great time here. We enjoyed the view and silence at the house. Our son hat great fun playing at the beach, watching fish and crabs between the rocks. Being able to use the facilities (pool, super market, restaurant, bar, playground) of the neighboring camping site was very convenient. The interior is not super fancy, but pretty and functional with everything you need for a family holiday. The host, Soula, was very helpful and responsive and is not far away if necessary. She greeted us us with fruit, homemade tzatziki and cooled water so we felt at home right away. Thank you for the great time, Soula!

Bel endroit calme avec une vue magnifique sur les collines. Maison spacieuse et bien rangée. Super hôtes très réactifs. Si vous en avez assez de la ville et que vous cherchez de la tranquillité, c’est ici qu’il faut venir :)

Kostas Unterkunft liegt einfach perfekt für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Olympia. Alles Fußläufig erreichbar. Uns hat es besonders gut gefallen, dass direkt an der Unterkunft zwei super Restaurants sind und man - obwohl ruhig gelegen - nur eine Straße von der Hauptstraße entfernt ist. So konnte man abends gut etwas bummeln gehen, nachdem die Bustouristen weg waren. Kostas hat uns persönlich begrüßt, einen Parkplatz zugewiesen und ist super freundlich. Er gibt gute Tipps für Erkundungen bzw. kann wissenswerte griechische Geschichte erzählen. Das hat uns einen Guide an der Ausgrabungsstätte erspart. Außerdem ist das Parken an der Straße selbst mit Gepäck im Auto super sicher. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Danke Kostas!

Traumhaft urige Unterkunft, absolute Privatsphäre und sehr symphatischer Gastgeber. Die Outdoor Küche ist ein Traum, Swimmingpool klein aber fein und dazu ein großer Garten was will man mehr! Haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt.

Wir haben uns von Anfang sehr wohl gefühlt in der Wohnung, auch wenn es am ersten Abend nicht gleich mit der Zentralheizung geklappt hat. Aber Stathis und seine Mutter haben sofort einen Techniker organisiert, sodaß wir es kurz darauf fein warm hatten. Die Heizkörper funktionierten in allen Räumen sehr gut. Stathis war ein wunderbarer Ansprechpartner, und hat immer in kürzester Zeit auf meine Nachrichten reagiert. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Seine Mutter hat uns mit einer Tüte voller frischer Orangen beschenkt. Herzlichen Dank nochmals dafür. Wir können die Wohnung gut weiter empfehlen. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Meer ist wunderbar und wir haben sie sehr genossen.

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We came for two months in spring directly to orange season, so we were able to enjoy them every day. The location is very peaceful and private. We are especially grateful that host accepts visitors with dogs, and the garden is fenced so the dog can freely roam without the fear of being lost. The house itself contains all you need to live there. It looks like it was built and equipped with quality materials and furniture. It is good place for remote working as it features high speed modem and the signal is good at the area. Managed to have video conferencing without issues. I would say to have a car is must, because it’s a few km to nearest market. The distance to the beaches is walkable. Myself I have really enjoyed walking in the surrounding villages after work day. Vasileios was very helpful and provided local recommendations and map. We were also provided olive oil for all our stay by the host and it’s extremely good quality.
