We tore down stalls and haylofts to create 30 ft ceilings for custom open floor plan living rm,dining, and custom hickory kitchen. Following barn imprint; the milkroom became a laundry room, 1st floor bedroom with private bath. The brick fireplace crackles and the French doors open to allow sounds of nature inside while you have your morning coffee. The 240 acres surrounding you takes stargazing to a new dimension.

Welcome to a farmhouse style guest house built in the late 1800's located in the village of Utica-an hour east of Columbus and the entrance of Amish Country byway to Holmes County-an hour away. It is conveniently located on the corner of State Rt. 62 and 13...busy and noisy intersection; but cozy, private, and relaxing inside. This is our rustic cabin that was built during prohibition and was a moonshiners paradise. There is no electricity and is completely off grid. There is a solar shower, lamps and candles, an RV toilet, gas/charcoal grill, outdoor fireplace, fire ring, picnic table etc. There is a queen size futon inside cabin and a futon with two cots in the screen room.
