Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Angra do Heroísmo

Op basis van de foto’s hebben we destijds deze accommodatie geboekt, en eerlijk gezegd bleek deze bij aankomst nog mooier te zijn dan verwacht. Ze is zeer sfeervol en comfortabel ingericht, met veel oog voor detail. De diverse zithoeken in de tuin, met uitzicht over zee en bij helder weer op de eilanden São Jorge en soms zelfs Pico, maakten ons verblijf compleet. 's Avonds konden we genieten van een vuurkorf met voldoende hout, wat de ervaring perfect maakte. De ligging aan een wat drukkere weg vonden wij ideaal, vooral omdat een kleine minimarkt aan de overkant van de straat voor veel gemak zorgde. Bovendien was er op steenworp afstand een kleine kaasproducent waar je ’s ochtends kon ontbijten en ’s avonds van een drankje kon genieten. Het is een ideale uitvalsbasis om het achterland van Terceira te verkennen, met voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Een absolute aanrader en een parel onder de Airbnbs!.

Helder's place is just as beautiful as it looks in the listing. It is very private with ocean views and lots of fresh air. On a clear day, walk up to the upstairs patio facing the coast and take in the fresh air and natural beauty of the island. It's just a short drive from Angra, and an even shorter drive to some of the most amazing restaurants on the island (e.g., Taberna Roberto, Quinta do Martelo). And as if that wasn't enough, Helder was very gracious in helping us with challenges we faced due to some unusually harsh weather during our visit. His proactive and very responsive communication saved the day a couple times. We will absolutely book this home again on our next trip to the island.

Sehr schönes, sauberes und liebevoll hergerichtetes Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage. Es gibt eine große Terrasse hinter dem Haus mit viel Sonne am Nachmittag. Guter Ort zum entspannen und geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen. Ti Choa war sehr nett und super hilfreich. Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Christine was an amazing host and the house was perfect. Highlights for me were the parking that was always available and the cleanliness throughout. I hope to stay here again next time I visit family in Villa Nova.

Hugo's apartment was truly exceptional – one of the best I've ever stayed in! The place was beautifully furnished, fully equipped, and offered everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The sauna and pool were spotless and made for a truly relaxing experience. What made this stay even more special was the warmth and kindness of Hugo's parents. They were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Their hospitality truly elevated the experience. If you're looking for a perfect getaway with top-notch amenities and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return in the future!

Quelle bonne surprise! Le logement est très bien équipé et décoré avec goût, très confortable. J'ai particulièrement aimé la vigne sur la terrasse (raisin excellent) et le grand écran télé. J'étais seul à occuper le logement, mais franchement, entre les deux lits doubles et les deux canapés, vous pouvez y séjourner à 6. 2 couples et 2 enfants, par exemple. J'ai tout de même eu du mal à trouver l'endroit, mon GPS ne reconnaissant pas le nom de la rue, et l'agent du logement me fournissant des instructions peu claires, mais tout ça a été oublié une fois que j'étais dedans. Ah oui, la plage est juste à côté et elle n'était pas du tout fréquentée et l'eau est presque chaude!

le logement est très facile à trouver, autant en voiture qu'à pied, proche de l'aéroport de Lajes. Un appartement simple et agréable et une très bonne literie, ce qui est pas fréquent. Merci à José pour sont acceuil et sa disponibilité.

I had a wonderful stay at the ground-floor apartment of Carlos and Carolina. They were both very welcoming and came out to greet me despite my very late arrival! There was a key-safe box there which I could have used if they had not been able to meet me. The apartment had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There was spacious off-street parking and a lovely outside space with a fabulous view. They kept in contact during my stay to check whether I needed anything or wanted recommendations. Carolina even kindly offered to translate for me on her day off when I was trying to arrange with a priest to see a church of interest that was closed due to renovation. Biscoitos itself is unique and beautiful - you will not regret coming here for a holiday.

Jose et Carla sont très gentils et accueillants, ils nous ont même donné de quoi faire notre petit déjeuner ! Rien ne manque tout est parfait ! Nous ne manquerons pas d’en faire l’éloge ! Le logement est spacieux et très bien tenu , décoré avec beaucoup de goût et l’emplacement est magnifique , au calme et la vue depuis la terrasse est splendide.

The apartment was perfect for our needs and was well stocked for our two nights in town! Jose had a wealth of great information of the area and island when we checked in. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. La vue est magnifique. Elle vaut à elle seule le logement! De plus, la proximité de la ville principale de l’île en voiture est très commode. Le logement est propre et récent. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Gorgeous location with everything you need for a great stay. We really enjoyed the sunsets. Bed was comfortable. The house is a different color than the listing which made finding it a little confusing (it’s white with blue trim now). Check-in could be a little smoother, but was by no means terrible. Overall, this was a really lovely stay.

Everything is really nice. And the view is incredible!

Das Apartment ist sehr modern und geräumig, ausgestattet mit einer kleinen, aber funktionalen Küchenzeile. Alles ist durchdacht und praktisch eingerichtet. Ein Highlight ist die kleine Terrasse, von der aus man einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt und den Atlantik genießen kann. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Beachte aber, der Weg von der Stadt zum Apartment ist ziemlich steil, für manche vielleicht etwas anstrengend. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und können das Apartment nur weiterempfehlen!

Lovely place in Terceira! My mom, sister and I were visiting and loved the spacious rooms and gorgeous views of the city all the way to the ocean. The rooms were spotless and comfy, with a well stocked kitchen, which was great for our breakfasts on the balcony. Just down the hill was the town's center where we tried different restaurants and went shopping. Paulo was very kind and attentive to all our needs. We will definitely stay again when we return to Terceira!

Very friendly and helpful hosts who go out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Communication was quick and smooth — everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
