Barn accommodation in Anglesey

We had a truly memorable stay at the cottage during our first trip to Wales. We were mainly looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat — and this cottage was perfect for that. While we didn’t plan to explore much, we did visit Portmeirion and a few nearby villages. The location is great, with easy access to many activities if you’re looking for more adventure.The cottage was beautiful,very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. Though it can host up to six people, it was just the two of us, and we did find ourselves wishing our friends were there to share the experience. One of our favorite parts was sitting by the large front window, watching the train pass by and spotting horse and lambs in the distance. In the evenings, the views of the mountains and floating clouds were beautiful and the garden flowers added to the charm.Jeston was very responsive and helpful, which made everything even smoother. We made lovely memories here and would absolutely love to return.

Spent a wonderful couple of nights in a pristine cottage, surrounded by nature but also very close to everything N. Wales has to offer. Lliwen was an excellent host, proactive and responsive, and felt immediately welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

what a wonderful cottage set in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The cottage itself feels like a home from home with plenty of nick nacks on the copious number of shelves in each room. plenty of books in the lounge to keep your mind occupied. Although the weather was a bit hit and miss during our stay, we did have a couple of lovely days of sun. we don't go to Wales for guaranteed sun!! If you are taller then this cottage is not for you. we are average height and had to do a lot of bending. There are also a lot of small steps which can quite easily trip you up when your concentrating on the low ceilings. However overall, this is a place not to be missed. I can imagine it being very cosy during chilly nights. A very unique place not to be missed.

What an amazing place to stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, everything we needed for a weeks stay for 5 adults. Maxine made the place so lovely and cosy. Maxine was so informative of the local area and gave recommendations to where to visit. Would definitely recommend Maxine's place, and would consider returning, so much to do and see. Maxine recommended spring and autumn times are good too for the area. Thanks Maxine for a very comfortable stay at Pay Maes.

A really beautifully tucked away accommodation, perfect for hiking and enjoying the area. Nick was really helpful and on call if I needed anything! The Dairy was clean and cozy exactly what I expected, I would’ve loved to stay for longer and hope to return when I next come back to Wales. The track to the Dairy from the village is alittle bumpy, but I managed fine in my fiesta with some careful driving, there is a parking space a few meters from the accommodation which is ideal if you have lots of gear to move ! Mirka and Rob were amazing ! The farm was beautiful! They were so accommodating! Even closed off a field so my dog who wouldn’t settle could have a good run and sniff with all the new smells! The stable was stunning ! The views of the landscape ! The sea! The sheep and cows were amazing! Spending the weekend waking up to this was so relaxing! Felt super safe!

We loved our stay with Nick and Charlotte. They were very helpful and made us feel very at home in beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a long walk in the mountains!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here! We got so lucky with the weather for the middle of March and enjoyed using the hot tub and sitting outside on the swing chair! The lodge was clean and had everything you needed and the bed was sooo comfy!We went to the pub near a few times and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Katy was very helpful and responsive at all times. We would defo recommend to anyone who would like a peaceful getaway ☺️

Absolutely beautiful! Location, accommodation, host everything was 100% perfect. The cottage was sparkling clean with everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful stay at Y Caban with 3 days of glorious weather allowing us to make great use of the log fired bath, fire pit and bbq. There was plenty of wood and charcoal supplied. A stunning view of the valley and mountains. We had a lovely walk into Betws Y Coed and Fairy Glen. The cabin and the bedroom was cosy and clean with a lovely shower. Highly recommended and we hope to return in the future.

All round a perfect stay, very clean and had everything we needed. Attention to the fine details such as maps and any information for snowdon. Lovely and quiet area and only around a half an hour drive to snowdon. Could not recommend more for the price.

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Most comfortable, stylish and welcoming Airbnb we have stayed in. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and Gorse Barn is only 15 minutes from several great sites to visit, like Bodnant Gardens and Conwy Castle. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Will certainly return to this beautiful place.

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

An absolutely wonderful stay. The barn was just beautiful, spacious, had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy, and the views from the bedroom were breathtaking. We visited lots of the surrounding areas by car, was lots of nice places to eat. The hot tub was just amazing to relax in at the end of the day. The hosts we're more than helpful and we absolutely loved their beautiful, extremely friendly dog Jack who came to visit us everyday for cuddles and back scratches 😍 We would have loved to stay longer, it was absolutely perfect and will most definitely be coming back to stay here again, and see more of beautiful Wales. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a stay in Wales.

Amy’s house was so comfortable, cozy and clean you felt right at home from the minute you arrived. The location is very quiet with stunning views. Amy was very helpful and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. I would happily stay here again if we were going to North Wales again. The house is a short drive to lots of beaches and close to Chester and other main cities if you fancy a day trip. We enjoyed every minute! Thanks so much Amy!

I had the most wonderful stay at the Loft in Deganwy. Wonderful hosts. The Loft itself was beautiful and had the perfect facilities for my stay. I stayed for a month for a University placement in a nearby Hospital and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. I would definitely recommend to anyone going to stay up in North Wales, And look forward to hopefully returning soon!

We were a family group, varying from 18 months to late 70s and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was situated in peaceful and beautiful surroundings but conveniently situated for local activities. We visited Caernarfon, Beddgelert and Snowdon's summit during our visit. This was our second visit and we look forward to visiting again in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful property. We had a great 2 night stay in this lovely, little space. It’s very well equipped with everything you could need including two very, very comfy beds. The beds (and the place) were the perfect respite after a long hike. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this area of Wales.

My brother, dad and i had a great stay at Geoff and Julie’s place. Geoff greeted us upon arrival and was extremely accommodating towards us! He told us about the great places nearby which helped us get a good understanding of the area! The sheep and lambs were also great viewing! The accommodation was extremely clean and tidy, the location for us was perfect and the hot tub was also a great extra! 10/10, we will be coming back!

lovely cottage, with everything we could need, very spacious,on a small farm with access to snowdonia and hills to walk around. Jane and farmer John very friendly and welcoming and sorted out any problems even when it was me not being able to work a water heater. Jane happily recommended lots of places to go out to eat, lots of different information leaflets in the cottage for us to have a look through and plan days out. Dog friendly and a lovely size garden that is 100% safe and secure. A lovely welcome pack when we arrived.

We had a lovely stay at Buttercup Barn. The isolation of the location was just what we needed and we spent peaceful afternoons chilling out in the hot tub. We walked down to the beaches and the amenities in Abersoch everyday with our dogs enjoying the sand and sea. We only visited The Vaynol and St Tudwals pubs and highly recommend both of these. We contacted the host, Emma, with a couple of minor questions and she responded very quickly. The Barn itself is excellent and very comfortable. We will definitely return. What a picturesque location with so many beautiful walks right from your doorstep. We loved our time at Daniel and Paul's place, sitting on the terrace watching all the lambs frolicking and hiking through the woodland and mountains.

Helen's cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a nice peaceful break in the picturesque village of Llanasa. It is the perfect spot to explore all North Wales has to offer and the stack of information provided at the cottage assisted us greatly with this. The cottage is immaculate and there is a patio area outside where you can sit and all you hear in nature. Helen and Sam are the perfect hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their lovely cottage.
