Family-friendly holiday rentals in Andros

Words cannot describe how lovely our time at A Deck Feeling has been. The apartment is incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a breathtaking location. Ermoupoli is special and this neighborhood is idyllic. The color of the sea at your feet and the sound of the waves as you drift off to sleep is food for the soul. As wonderful as the physical space, it is the owners, Iro and Dimitris, that really take this stay to the next level. Thank you both for your genuine hospitality and kindness! It was a great place to stay! Full kitchen, 2 beds with their own bathrooms and a half bath for guests. Plenty of space inside and out. Plus he has a sound system with both indoor and outdoor speakers. This is one villa he uses as an AirBnB out of three on that street, each one has its own electric gate along with a main gate to gain access to all three. The area is private and relatively quiet and clean. This was my second time back to Mykonos and my third time in Greece. I would 100% stay here again or in one of the other villas he owns.

Christo’s is an amazing host. Informative, helpful, and super flexible with checkin and check out. The place is beautiful at the top of the old town looking down. Minutes walk to restaurants and shopping. Would stay again in a heart beat whenever in Mykonos. Thank you so much!!!!

The view is stunning both day and night. The apartment is clean and they refresh it each day. The hosts are responsive and proactive with a long list of local recommendations. They have clear communication and are very friendly. We do recommend renting a car or ATV, the hill is steep and it’s a lot easier to explore the island this way. The hot tub was great, we used it everyday and it definitely enhances the experience. This is a great place to stay, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially from the pool area, which quickly became our favorite spot. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. It also catered perfectly to our baby’s needs. The host and their team were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. In the evenings, stargazing from the terrace was magical, adding to the peaceful ambiance. A perfect getaway for families or anyone looking for relaxation in a stunning setting!

The Airbnb was absolutely perfect with beautiful views over the town. The hill is steep but not bad. The place has lots of room and everything you need for a short stay!

We spent 4 weeks in Dimitris' place on Mykonos and it was the dream. We were working remotely so we needed a quiet space and good Wi-Fi, which were both perfect. The stony beach across the road is great for swimming (bring swimming booties) and the snorkeling was fab! While it helps to have a car or a quad, there are amenities within walking distance - as long as you don't mind hills. Everywhere in Mykonos needs transport so it is no more remote than any hotel as far as we could see. Dimitris was always on the other end of the phone, but we rarely needed him tbh. The house really felt like home and had everything we could possibly need (even an electric toothbrush charger, which we forgot). Comfy bed, and clean and very comfortable all round. The veranda is beautiful. There are shaded areas to eat (and cook), stunning blue view from the front and sunshine all day. The highlight though - the beautiful sunsets from the bubbling hot tub!! Heaven! We will be back.

The property is everything the HOST describes — and our first impression was “wow” ,,, it is updated in amenities AND the view is fabulous. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, the easy walk to restaurants on the water, and the great service and support from Katerina. She is a “super-host” and makes it a priority to provide attention to your interests and activities— we loved our time with this property and definitely recommend other guests to schedule a reservation.

Centrally located in Batsi, the house is completely functional and - mainly - it is a house and not a room. It has an atmosphere and a home feeling. It was our best stay and we've been going to Andros for at least 10 years now.

The apartment was lovely and well presented and in a perfect location to access the beach and the old town with its pedestrianised area of many restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The outside area was great for eating or relaxing and has a sea view. The host was very friendly and happy to provide recommendations. Natasha

It is hard to imagine a house more beautiful than this one. The natural scenery is astounding: the cliffs, the sea, the sky, the goats, the birds... It is such a wonderful place that we found it hard, every morning, to leave the house to visit Andros and go to the beach. The view is amazing, the terrace very comfortable and the shower in the garden a pleasant plus, especially in the evening when the water is warm after a sunny day. Inside, the decor is very pleasant and the kitchen is fully furnished - and I mean, fully! Oven, orange squeezer, cutlery, toaster, you name it. Which is great news, because if you don't mind cooking you really don't need any restaurants and at dinner you can take advantage of one of the most beautiful views in the whole island. The beds are comfortable, with good mattresses, and at night there is no noise. Really: no noise at all, but the sound of the wind. This is also the perfect place if you have to spend some hours working, because there's plenty of space and a good wifi connection (the telephone network works fine, too). My husband, my son and I spent some of the happiest days of our lives in this house, and I am grateful to Loukia because she was always quick in answering to my questions and very helpful. And she decorated the house beautifully! I am looking forward to coming back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Ursula’s villa, we didn’t want to leave! We were there as a family and the two different living areas meant there was plenty of space for all of us…there are so many beautiful places to sit and take in the views. The pool was fantastic too. The location is close to Gavrio which is great for trips to the supermarket/bakery but as it’s up in the hills, so you can still enjoy peace and quiet. Very well located for Fellos beach and Vitali on the other side of the island. Would highly recommend staying here, thanks Ursula.

This a wonderful spot and very convenient accommodation, especially for a big family or group of friends as it sort of combines three separate houses with two bedrooms and separate bathrooms and kitchens each combined under one roof with common infrastructure like a pool, a few outdoor dining and chilling areas and a barbecue. This allows you to spend time together or enjoy your quiet time if required. Everything is organised great with all the required small things, high quality but with a traditional vide u look for when you hit a location like this. The house is very clean, neat and tidy, - it really felt like home. The view is magnificent even a bit further from the see and stores but is is 15’ drive everywhere at max which is ok. Internet connection was not perfect however it might have been because of extremely windy weather those days. The host however tried to do thei best and fix ut as much as possible. The host was great, very welcoming and responsive. Thank you!

The house is very beautiful, located in the hills above Gavrio, overlooking both the harbor and west (beautiful sunsets!). New, well maintained, well furnished and with comfortable spaces for six people: a little sacrificed the single room for the seventh place, a little small and without a closet. Great host support, quick responses, and always very helpful. In the middle of the stay they provided a change of sheets and towels and at the end of the stay they gave immediate and effective assistance for an inconvenience to our friends who were guests with us in the house. Thanks in particular to Dionysis, very kind! We had a great time! We recommend it!

We had a great time in a wonderful house. It is very privately located. Another house is located above it on the slope - but this was not occupied at the time of our trip. We traveled with six people and had a total of four double rooms and three bathrooms available. One of them is on the first floor. On the first floor, the layout is extremely spacious with a very well-equipped and functional kitchen. The house has a magnificent terrace, a wonderful garden and a magnificent swimming pool. It was pleasantly fresh, but not too cold. Everything makes a very neat and sparkling clean impression. We were in constant contact with the landlady and she always responded very helpfully to any questions within minutes. There are beautiful beaches nearby and good restaurants to discover on the island. Here, too, the tips were really valuable. Ideally, you need a rental car. In short, really great!

Fabulous villa in the most beautiful spot! We were 6 people (adults and teenagers) but the house would be very comfortable for more. Everything is very well maintained and responses were quick and helpful for our queries. A few practical points: - The driveway is very steep so if you're hiring a car, you might want to request a manual. - Those in our party with good mobility enjoyed walking into Batsi. However, this involves some walking on the main road with no pavement then a path that is steep and uneven so definitely not suitable for anyone less sure-footed. However, taxis are available and pretty cheap compared to the UK. - Vegan food is far more widely available than we had expected for an island that isn't packed with tourists, including incredible vegan ice cream.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay at and exactly like the pictures! Private and very large family villa, with a beautiful view. There is a parking for the car as well. Swimming pool cleaned every day. Very good communication with the host and friendly. Strongly recommend! Thank you!

The villa is very comfortable, well maintained and stocked, stylishly decorated and very clean. Its positioning and view above the sea makes it a stunning location and idyllic for a relaxing, and peaceful holiday. The pool is a good size and beautiful, with lots of seats and loungers, and shade if wanted. Although it’s shared, we had it to ourselves most days. The nearest beaches are lovely and there are local restaurants, a mini supermarket and good bakery too. You do need a car, both for the steep incline to the villa and to access the many lovely beaches around the island. Andros is a beautiful choice of Greek island for those wanting peace and tranquility. The wind kept the heat feeling manageable. Lia and her husband were both very welcoming and friendly and made an extra effort for us to check in a bit early which was helpful. They were on hand with advice whenever needed.thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This was perfect for our family of 5. We spent many hours researching the different Greek islands and places to stay and such, and we made the right choice for so many reasons. Keira was a very friendly host; she could made us bread and zucchini pie and transported us to and from the port. We did rent a car for part of our stay, but you can easily get by without one. After seeing the other side of the island, I can say that we chose the correct side. The indoor spaces are wonderful, but it's the outdoor space that makes this house perfect. The plunge pool cools you down instantly, and you can always roll a day bed to a shady spot on the very large patio. The beaches are in walking distance, as are some good eating options. We highly recommend Keira's place.
