“Lovely family run location and beautiful arrangement. My boyfriend and me had been here for one night in mid April. The cottage has a nice interior, a lot is made of wood. You could look up to the sky under the shower. Everything was clean. Our host and the staff were very friendly. Our flight was on delay, so that we arrived at 9:15pm. Nevertheless we get some delicious curry, partly with ingedrients from the owners garden. We paid Rs ~650 for one curry. In the morning we could see how the coconuts had been harvested and how he climbed between the trees. Our breakfast was also good: we got some coconut pancakes, coconut bread, fruits, omelett and more. Highly recommend to calm down and start your trip in Sri Lanka☺”

“Very memorable 2,5-days stay in the Sri Lankan countryside. The village and surroundings are great: peaceful, green and beautiful. By the nearby lakes you can see birds we have seen earlier in National Parks (and here you have it for free). The host and his family very friendly, communication with the host before the arrival and during the stay was professional and smooth. The location of their place is very conveninent: we went to Maho by train from Anuradhapura and it was only 1,5hrs journey + tuktuk from the station. We spent long time planning our itinerary in Sri Lanka and we are very happy we chose this homestay experience instead of yet another place recommended by guidebooks or blogs.”
