The best hidden gem in Amsterdam!! Beautiful private garden and modern home tucked away from the city!!

The perfect pad for two in a really beautiful part of Amsterdam - central and easy to walk to everything but quiet at night and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Mati was great and really easy to get hold of, ask questions etc. I would highly recommend this stay.

Ubytování odpovídalo popisu, dům i sousedství bylo poklidné. V blízkosti dostatek obchodů, nákupní centrum i vlak který jezdí často a v centru Amsterdamu jste za 10 minut.Hostitelka byla velice milá a nápomocná.Při příjezdu jsme obdrželi veškeré informace a komunikace byla skvělá i v průběhu pobytu. Náš syn si mohl odvést i plyšáka na památku.

A superb place! We enjoyed staying at Monica’s place very much - it was beautiful, had all the conveniences of a modern home and yet a beautiful charm of an ancient place! The building is leaning and everything is at a slight angle - typical of Amsterdam and definitely charming. Our 1 year old who just learned to walk and kept wobbling to the leaning side which was funny to watch. Very steep staircase up to the apartment which again is typical to Amsterdam. We didn’t mind but it’s a workout for sure! Highly recommend for a very convenient location, comforts of a home and old time charm. Thanks Monica!

Birgit and her home are so wonderful! Birgit was so helpful showing us around the home and so gracious when our train was cancelled and we needed to stay another night. The home is clean and beautiful. We had plenty of space and loved having a quiet space after a day in a busy city. We hope to stay here again!

Wir waren für zwei Tage in der Unterkunft. Easy Check-in und die Gastgeber waren immer erreichbar. Die Unterkunft war sauber und hat alles was man braucht, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel waren in der Nähe und zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an die Gastgeber die stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und mega cool waren !!!

Ruben's sweet ground Level Flat was perfectly Situated for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam. Located literally around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and the major tram stops it was so easy to get around. The space is clean and bright. We really appreciated the quiet backyard Patio after a day of exploring Amsterdam. We would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, and very attentive; she responded to our questions immediately. Additionally, her recommendations for places to visit and eat helped us have a fantastic time. The house is perfect and very practical for families with children. It has everything you need when traveling with kids. The garden was definitely a lifesaver, both for our child and for us. We had a comfortable and safe stay. We would definitely choose this place again. Thank you to the host for everything!"

Fantastisch appartement op een heel goede locatie. En ondanks dat je in het hartje van het centrum zit, hartstikke rustig! Het appartement voelt huiselijk aan en heeft alles wat wij nodig hadden. Douwe is een geweldige gastheer, die indien gewenst veel tips voor activiteiten heeft. En we hebben hartelijk met hem gelachen. Er is geen twijfel, dat we hier nog eens terugkomen.

Great location. Easy access to city center. Supermarket and cafe 2 min walk. Clean. Has everything you need for short stay. You can cook simple dishes. Mark and Patrick are friendly and supportive with helpful local recommendations. Only thing surprised me was they asked us to write down our passport numbers and DOB in a form, which might sound uncomfortable as these are very personal details that we usually avoid to share. But if it’s culturally accepted in NL, it’s fine. Other than this I’ll recommend this place

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

Schöne, kleine Unterkunft. Perfekt geeignet um mit der Bahn nach Amsterdam zu fahren. Kommunikation mit den Hosts lief problemlos. Die 2 Nächte vor Ort haben uns gut gefallen.

A lovely place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, walking path and many trains to get you wherever you need to go. Spacious apartment and very clean - bonus of plug adapters in both bedrooms with USB and USB-C (didn't need to bring one). Well stocked kitchen for those preparing meals in the rental. Overall 10/10, would recommend!

Arjen has quite the incredible apartment near the train station. Nice sized Duplex with outdoor deck off the bedrooms. It couldn't have been more comfortable, with great light, herbs and berries growing on the deck that he encouraged you to consume. It's convenient to almost everything. As others have said the stairs, at first seem daunting, but once you get used to it, it stops being a problem. Arjen was there too meet us when we arrived. He generously carried our bags up the stairs, acclimated us to the space and then took us on a tour of the neighborhood. He was there when we left to go to the airport at 6:30 am to carry our bags back down the steps. He's very charming and articulate. He was never intrusive but always responsive. He loves his city and is willing to share locals only things to do. Next time I come to Amsterdam I'll look to to stay here first.

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Es ist für Naturliebhaber leicht zu erreichen und dennoch nur 25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Amsterdams entfernt. Wir vermissten lediglich eine größere Spüle zum Abwaschen des Frühstücksgeschirrs. Insgesamt war es aber eine sehr sympathische Erfahrung.

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Fleur’s apartment. It is very close to a tram stop which made it easy to get around, and it was well situated between the main areas of the city, making it a good base to explore from. The apartment was nice - it had everything we needed for a couple days in the city. The only thing to note is that the stairs within the apartment (from living area to bedroom) are narrow and steep, but this seems quite typical of stairs in this area- the same was true of stairs in restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great stay and I would stay there again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Mel & Henri’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of charm—it truly felt like a home away from home. A pleasure to stay here. Much better than a hotel. Felt like home from home. As a result of a great stay, will come back again with my wife. So close to the centre but also perfectly set a little away. Great restaurants, bakery and bars nearby. A great place for taking a run each day and of course, pick up a bike and take a ride.
