Family-friendly holiday rentals in Amoreira

We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

What an incredible apartment! It’s fully equipped, immaculately clean, and the beds are so comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. There are also so many useful items for kids, which makes it super convenient for families. The huge terrace and jacuzzi provide such a lovely space to relax. Beautiful house by the beach! We loved the peace and the view. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of charm (and a lovely little library). The kitchen especially is well-stocked. Since you’re surrounded by nature there are many spiders, snakes and lizards (mostly outside, thankfully). We visited in November and the temperature in the house really dropped at night (from 20C to 15C). The only option to heat is a small and somewhat noisy space heater, so if you visit in winter be prepared with warm clothes. That was the only thing we found difficult during an otherwise extremely pleasant stay. Pedro was a very friendly and engaged host!

The apartment is really nice! Super clean and modern and the roof top terrace is definitely a nice thing on top. In general the apartment is well equipped and I really enjoyed my stay. Claudia also was very responsive regarding questions and everything is very well explained within the apartment. I’d love to stay there again at some point.

Wonderful home that matches the host. Stunning from inside to out and very well maintained. The children (and adults) were very entertained with the arcade room and others. Great bbq which I recommend using as not many restaurants for large groups (unless you drive a bit) the kitchen was excellent, not only was it fully equipped, but the equipment was all in very good order to use. Good size grounds where the kids could burn energy and it’s helped to have such large car space at the front as we had 3 vehicles. As we went in December with the cooler weather the pool didn’t quite heat up enough to use (although the daring kids braved the chill and went in a couple of times). Also due to the cooler months it was difficult to get longer periods of hot water so we had to be mindful of when taking showers etc. Overall this is a 5* property and host and couldn’t recommend enough!

It was a week of well spent vacation, where we had everything we needed in the apartment (utensils/services/machines) as communicated to us by Mr. Luis. In the vicinity there are excellent places of gastronomy with good price/quality ratio. The place is quiet and with good access both for walking and to discover new destinations by car.

What an amazing stay! From the location, which embraces nature and brings incredible calm, to the house itself, equipped with all the necessary utensils for a perfect stay. I also have to thank Adriana and her father for the ease of communication and all the attention given! It will certainly be a place to visit again!

Everything was perfect! Wish we had stayed longer.

We were two retired people from Canada staying in this place and we just loved it. Nazare still is quite authentic and from the old town, in which Sandra's place is, you can do anything within 10 min walking. even going over the hill to North Beach is a breeze. The place is quaint and newly renovated. It has all that is needed and we even cooked a few meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Sandra was extremely responsive and helpful to us. We can highly recommend.

Very nice place, close to the areas of interest in Nazaré, easy two min walk to the beach. Well equiped with all you need to cook a quick meal (in our case breakfast, as we only stayed for one night). Close to supermarkets and convenience stores and restaurants too. Joaquim was very nice, and greet us for check in accomodating to our travel schedule. Thank you, Joaquim for a nice stay at your place.

A place that will miss you, a house where all the details have been thought through in detail, with affection and love. This house has all the amenities a guest might want but its success goes far beyond that. João and everyone involved is to be congratulated for what they have built!

Had a lovely few days at Maria’s gorgeous house in a great location inside the city walls . A charming place with so much character! Near everything but not too busy or noisy , perfectly positioned to explore the area . Maria was very informative and helpful on local recommendations. Highly recommend !

Very large house with private pool and really huge roof terrace. There were only two of us here, there are beds for 6 people and 2 bathrooms. There is a garage for the car, also enough parking space in front of the house. For surfing: only 10 minutes by car to Baleal and Supertubos is even closer. Thanks to Celia for the wonderful time!

This was our second stay at this beautiful beach house. It’s one of our favorite places in Europe.

This beautifully updated traditional stone house exceeded our expectations in pretty much every way! It is quaint but with everything we needed for our 3-night stay, including good heat (which we used due to the chilly weather). We gave all 5s except one 4 because the house is right next to the road. The 18" thick walls in the house keep the noise to a minimum and the road is not busy at all, so no big deal. The host prepared a super-helpful booklet of nearby sights and restaurants that we referred to regularly (in both Portuguese and English). We can't recommend this place highly enough!

A wonderful villa for those looking to relax in a pleasant and cozy environment, while also with options to get to know some sights. The villa is excellent for moments with family and friends, well equipped and with everything for our convenience. The swimming pool is one of the highlights of the villa, a pleasant temperature even though it is cold days… We were surprised by the size of it, because in the photos it appears to be much smaller than it really is. Large rooms with an excellent structure a living room that provides moments of relaxation, good conversations and conviviality. My family and I were very happy for our choice. I take this opportunity to thank the reception that was wonderful, as was the chekout. Thank you and we will definitely repeat…

Had such a lovely week in Nazaré. Rachelle was such a great host - we were delayed due to flight delays on arrival and she waited until 1:30am to say hi to us and show us around. She was very responsive with replies and we locked our key in the house and she dropped one off straight away! The house was really clean and had lots of cooking amenities. We opted to have the pool heated for the extra €120 and I woukd definitely recommend this as it was really warm! The property is a little bit far outside of nazare centre, so you really need to get taxis to and from town but we used Ubers a lot which were only €4 each way. We surfed most days at Praia des pareses which is a lovely beach with great waves. Overall a lovely trip. Would recommend. Only minor issue was having to be quiet after 10pm and not use the pool after this time so if you are wanting a more party week then I’d probably look at other options. For us this was fine though :) Thanks Rachelle!

I went to meet my brother and his family to spend Christmas together , Maria Helena was vey flexible and friendly, explained that party wasn’t aloud as described but a family meeting would be welcome because Christmas is a special occasion, we had a wonderful family dinner, place is absolutely stunning, Maria Helena and her husband are very friendly and Helpful. Maria Helena showed around and explained how to use the facilities. The house is big and beautiful, kitchen has everything we need , weather was cold because the winter but the place has heating and 2 wood fire and enough wood to burn inside and outside if need . Stunning mountains view. I recommend anyone who goes hire a car to explore around . The Nazaré beach is stunning ( famous for the highest waves in the world) . Villages around ate beautiful snd clean , it stands out for the oranges , small trees with oranges everywhere, locals also put bags of oranges around in fences for free , we enjoyed oranges from her garden .

Very pleasant house for a larger family with children and lots of sports equipment. Spacious with facilities to accomodate all needs - storage, cleaning, drying, cooking, relaxing. Clean and cleaned at no additional cost in the middle of the stay. Very nice host who remembers and fulfills promises and cares of guests´well-being even if requests beyond standard - in our case need for softer mattress due to back problems. Very quick and easy communication. ***** for the place and one more extra * for Rogerio :-)

Nice house for two families.

Very nice house, spacious and well-appointed, just a short walk from the "sitio". All amenities are available. The kitchen is well-equipped. Comfortable beds. The outdoors is lovely. Carlos is available and responsive to ensure a smooth stay.

Lovely, spacious apartment with inside and outside space. Very short walk to a good beach, which was great for children. Handy local supermarket very close. Very well equipped and clean.
