Family-friendly holiday rentals in Amherst

This condo was perfect for what we needed. Just two bedrooms, a kitchen and living room, so we could relax in between walking adventures. I wish I had come across this back in the fall when my daughter was playing soccer for Northeastern because the soccer field is literally across the street. There is a nice walking trail about a quarter of a mile away. We really liked Coolidge Corners. Easy to get Ubers. The place was perfect and comfortable and easy to get in/out.

The apartment was exactly like described in an amazing location. I was attending a conference at the EXPO center, and it was an easy 25 minute walk there and back. Area is safe and clean. The best feature is the is less than a minute walk from a beautiful park and beach. Multiple Restaurants within walking distance and had no trouble getting items delivered. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much Tanya!

We had a great stay! This house was in a great location, and very nice/spacious. We also appreciated the very thorough and clear communication regarding check-in etc, before the stay. I highly recommend Joel as a host!

Dave was an amazing host and he provided the best possible get away for our first wedding anniversary. It was private there is so much beautiful outdoor art to look at and the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after the day. If there was a 6 star option I would give it this was everything we wanted and needed and then some

So lovely at this awesome house right on the lake. The view is amazing, the place was spotlessly clean, and Tom and Donna are gracious hosts. I highly recommend this Airbnb, this was our second stay and we will be back. Highlights were enjoying the hot tub, a lovely sunset cruise with Tom and Donna and of course, hearing the loons on the lake at night.

This place was amazing, it was so beautiful we decided to do our wedding ceremony on the grounds. Everything was just as the pictures and description says! We have family in Springfield so staying at Whitney and Alex’s place is perfect for us. It’s spacious and comfortable. This was our second stay and we will definitely be returning.

We came up to Joan's lovely cottage for a peaceful, hiking Christmas vaca and it was absolutely perfect. Joan was a wonderful host, very friendly and generous. We wish Joan was our granny too! Granny camp was comfy, cozy, on a beautiful lake, with lots to do in surroundings areas. Would love to come back in the summer! Thank you!

We needed a place for our family - 3 couples and 2 young children - to stay for the wedding of our daughter. Sarah's house was great. It had plenty of room for the kids to play inside as it rained a good part of our visit. (Fortunately the rain held off for the wedding.) Sarah provided eggs fresh from her chickens - they were delicious. She also gave us information about local restaurants. We saw wild turkeys walking outside the house. All in all a delightful stay.

I stayed at Alan's place before and I specifically booked his place again. I would have worked my flights around availability if I needed to. I love the location and the apartment layout is absolutely the best. Peaceful and relaxing and everything anyone could need or want is there. Alan and his wife are so friendly and welcoming. I plan on staying with them again for sure. I love looking out the windows at the surrounding trees and I took pictures of the wild turkeys enjoying their surroundings as well this year!

This is the second time staying here and look forward to staying here again. Place is easy to get too and always very clean.

This lovely home has everything you could need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake. Loved hearing the loons calling. The kitchen was the most well-equipped of any airbnb I’ve been to. And it was a plus having a dishwasher and being dog-friendly. The house was super clean and the beds very comfy. Hope to return soon.

The Nana-Tucket Inn is an absolutely gorgeous and pristine property with everything a family could need! It was perfect for our family while we were visiting New England. It was a great space for family time and our teenagers had plenty to do. Nancy and Joe are the perfect hosts! They are kind and extremely helpful while they maintain the beautiful property. They are not intrusive at all but are there if you need anything. During our stay, a huge storm blew through Massachusetts with extremely strong winds and tons of rain. Nancy and Joe had the mess made by the storm was cleaned up immediately by a professional crew the next morning so that we did not miss a single moment of the property amenities! Nancy also made us a blueberry crumble cake that was delicious and so kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we cannot wait to return during our next New England trip.

This place is simply incredible. A vintage mid century modern gem overlooking a lovely farm with mountains on the horizon. The pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could desire to host large family get togethers. Philip was extremely responsive and friendly throughout. My only regret is not knowing how to play the piano. We can't wait to come back in the warmer months to see the farm and garden in full effect. 10/10 recommend.

It's a beautiful back yard and working farm. It's peaceful & fun to hear the animals ( peacock & donkey). There is lots to do for kids. The place was clean with roomy main bedroom & livingroom. The kitchen had everything needed but lacked ample counter space or room to store unrefrigerated food. The dehumidifier ran all the time & had to be emptied every day. The patio has couch & chairs looked comfy but got wet in rain. The picnic table was nice & coukd be dried off. My grandkids had a blast using the pool, trampoline, hammock, see-saw & climbing structures. It's a very peaceful place. We hiked on 2 different Mass Rail Trails near by.

This is the second year that my group of friends has booked this location. If you are looking for a perfect vacation spot for you and 15 other friends or family, you honestly can’t do any better. Everyone has a bed, and there are plenty of bathrooms to go around. We cook all of our meals in, and having two fridges and kitchen with all of the pots and pans you need made it really easy. The house is rustic, so welcoming, and full of charm. We loved having space inside for board games, crafts and big family style meals. The back patio and pool have a great view and is a spectacular spot to watch the sunset.

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

Donna is fantastic and if your looking for a charming New England spot this is it! We Are very satisfied with this home.

We had a wonderful stay! It's very close to Boston, and other area attractions like Salem and beaches, but still peaceful. We enjoyed sitting at the pool. Kathy was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. They provided clear instructions for getting into the space and I had no issues navigating in and out of the neighborhood or to the basement apartment. I would definitely stay again if I'm needing a place in the area!

We needed a nice little place to stay while we visited family and friends. This was perfect. Cute and convenient, plus lots of fun amenities like a clubhouse, ball courts, kayaks and the lake. We went off season, so the pool was closed and it was too cold to boat, but it was still fun. We enjoyed walking the community, playing ping-pong and driving the golf cart.
