Holiday rentals with breakfast in Amherst County

We have been staying at the Parsonage now for 5 years and it became our favorite place when we visit VA. Anne is a very generous hostess and she continues to upgrade the house and make it even more comfortable! The mountain views are gorgeous anytime of the year! We love her place, the details, the books, the artwork and the view! We hope to be back soon!

It was the first time in months that I was finally able to relax and get proper sleep. I slept later than I planned to! Lori did everything to make sure I was comfortable and felt safe. She really is such a good person and so caring and big hearted. Just meeting her for the first time felt like I had known her for years! Thank you Lori! We were there for a ski weekend at Wintergreen and everything on the mountain was booked. This place wasn’t far from the Ski Barn. The farmhouse takes you back 75-100 years. It was a real unique cozy place. It wasn’t a slope side condo, but it had a lot of real charm. I think we stumbled on a cozy gem.

The Lodge is beautiful!!! Don't hesitate on booking this home. Lovely setting, quiet and secluded. Grounds are amazing and so is the home. Don't forget to go down to the creek, it was such fun. Breweries and wineries super close by.

The worth of my stay was invaluable! Thoroughly enjoyed Sandra’s kind and gracious hospitality. The space is impeccable, comfortable and private, and the host comes with the most unexpected, gracious acts of kindness which blessed my son and I tremendously. Her home was just what we needed during our visit to Lynchburg. I absolutely recommend staying with Sandra.

Donna was super gracious, and worked with me on a trip that involved special circumstances. She made provision for every detail of the accommodations, and it was a huge relief to have her as the hostess!

A comfortable and celebratory stay for our daughter’s graduation. The location was close enough for getting where we needed to be but far enough away from the hustle of graduation weekend. A well appointed home and an extremely well stocked kitchen. We especially enjoyed the screened porch!

Very nice place with thoughtful layout. Beautiful backyard with nice patio area and peaceful area beside the creek. Great communication and responsive.

My husband and I stayed here during parent's weekend at University of Lynchburg. The room was as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Jeff and Carol were very friendly and easy to work with. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We highly recommend!

My son and I just had an overnight stay. It was comfortable and clean and the Susan and husband were very friendly! I felt safe there and slept well. Thank you for having us. Bonus - they have a border collie and if you don’t know they are the best dogs in the world !!!

Ansolutely immaculate provisions provided b family style. Bath items are family size not individual. They best best I’ve ever slept on in My entire life! Things here have a clean squared off finish, not a fluffy sinking feeling. This is fine. The look of the bed seemed like it would be hard and I could have failed asleep the moment I sat down. Beyond clean. Everything in place to easily respect property. Two bedrooms. Advertised for 5. With children perhaps. We are two retired adults and were quite comfortable.

we had a lovely sleepover. i have never stayed in an airbnb where the host lives among us. i was surprised as to how easy it was for me to feel comfortable and safe and happy. i was sad to go. having breakfast prepared for us at the hour we requested evoked a feeling only akin to that of my late-grandmom. the quilts atop the beds and sofa were so beautiful, i almost dared myself to ask if susan would ever have some for sale… thankful to a site like airbnb to allow me to find such a pleasant, beautiful home to stay in overnight on our long journey home

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Jeff and Carol's place is great. I stayed here a few years ago, and was pleased with the stay this time as well. I wish we'd had time (and energy) to use the hot tub - it was ready for us to use. I liked the upstairs space with the fridge. I will definitely stay here again if I need a space like that. Thank you both!
