Holiday rentals with beach access in Amatique Bay

this place was an architectural dream! everywhere we turned was another gem to behold! we had a bit of an issue with the heating in the hot tub but management came by to help us out. only thing I wish they were more clear on in the listing is that the second bed is a foam pad that is kept under the dining room table. other than that, I'd totally come back to this one of a kind airbnbs!

Grounds and apartment were well maintained and beautiful. Herbert and his wife were very friendly and helpful and did extra things for us like letting us use their clothes line. The futon in the living room made a comfortable place for my husband to sleep because of his bad back. The neighborhood was safe, quiet and near good restaurant and a bakery. One of the hotels on the beach let us use their pool and beach as long as we ordered food there. They even provided us with towels at no charge.

Hello , my stay in Katia's house was 5 stars is a place in front of the beach and on the edge of the road easy to get to, it had a very clean beach. The place was super clean. The smell felt when entering is a new smell. It has a very equipped kitchen, the place was super clean. The place was super clean, the pool was super clean, as shown in the photos, the person in charge of the very friendly and helpful place was very good if I could give it 10 stars because the place is too nice to be from here from Honduras. You feel like you are in Cancun some of my best stays in Honduras .

My family absolutely loved our stay in Placencia at Phil and Megan's. The moment we arrived Phil met us and took us up and showed us their home. IT was truly beautiful, we loved the bathrooms! The air units were wonderful and the pool was a refreshing way to end a busy day. Lovely location, just minutes from the beautiful beach, tours, and restaurants. We have a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved this place. The view is spectacular. Only small suggestion I would say is to put a little refrigerator in the casita side for cold waters and small items. Thank you for a wonderful week.

This property is the place to get if you and your family are looking for privacy, peace, and just get away from the day-to-day. Walk to the beach , enjoy the pool if the ocean is too much :) , play some beach volleyball , and the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The host was super communicative and helpful and accommodating to a lot of requests of things I wanted to do above and beyond what the place has to offer. Bring your family, bring food to prepare, and enjoy all this property has to offer.

We had a really nice family time during our 5-day stay! The house had everything we needed—comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality time together. We truly had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful and cozy getaway.

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

Our experience at Heydi's place was excellent from start to finish. The house is just as shown in the pictures: clean, well decorated, and with a cozy and tropical atmosphere that invites you to rest. The view towards the surroundings and the proximity to the beach made our stay unforgettable. I especially emphasize Heydi's kindness and attention as a host, always attentive to any questions. Everything was in order for our arrival and we were able to enjoy it smoothly. The place is ideal both for rest and for sharing in a group. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort, tranquility and good location near the Bay of Tela.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Andrea was a great hostess. She was very attentive and helpful. It was very comfortable for two people, Super well appointed. The sunsets from the lanai were spectacular! Make sure you take advantage of Edward, the juice man, who delivers fresh local juices, and the fish vendor who comes by from time to time. There was great birding from the lanai! Having access a 10 minute walk away to a resort on the ocean side with the breeze, the palm trees, and a restaurant was fabulous. We were there during an unexpectedly wet “dry season“, which made the bugs problematic. The airport noise was a little more than we expected, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and there are no planes flying at night.

Thank you for all your help and support. The places it’s wonderful and I always recommend to go to Tela and Indura to my friends. The Condo it’s beautiful and easy access. The lobby personnel is nice and helpful all the time.

This place is amazing!! Super clean, beautiful view, and plenty of restaurants/bars around. Everything was super clean and Henry was super helpful with everything. Will definitely be back and recommended to anyone that’s looking for a beautiful getaway.

Kimberly’s support, services, recommendations and responsiveness was exemplary. She helped us in so many ways and responded to our questions in a timely manner. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was outstanding. The resort was peaceful, protected from the wind and was very private. Long walks on the beach, lounging at the palapa, paddling to the false Caye near by, shopping at the nearby village, swimming off the dock and just lounging on the beach were just a few our highlights here.
