Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Amarante

Great space for conviviality, with excellent indoor and outdoor conditions. With football field, padel, swimming pool and other entertainment ideal for groups. The host was very responsive and helped in any matter, also answering a late check out request on our part.

We loved staying at Americo’s house. It was in a stunning location with beautiful views as far as the eye can see of the Douro valley. The house sits in well loved landscaped gardens, with a lovely pool and outside sitting/eating area. There is a bonus area with fruit trees. The house is well furnished, cosy and comfortable. It was plenty of room for two small families. Our hosts were so kind and communicated well throughout the process. We did have problems locating the house, even following the instructions (Apple Maps sent us to the wrong location). But the hosts were patient. It’s a bit of a drive to go to larger sight seeing attractions and very windy for non-confident drivers. But for us it was perfect - we had all we needed in a 20 minute radius and drove to Porto for one day (it’s a 50 minute drive). The house and location is stunning and the hosts welcoming - I would definitely return and recommend to others!

Our stay at Luís's place was unbeatable. The place is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is not missing any detail and it is all as and how it is shown in the pictures. We enjoyed a lot of the pool and the good weather. Luís is a 10 host, very attentive, willing and friendly. We will definitely come back and do not hesitate to recommend it! It's been 3 days and with hosts like Mr. Carlos and D. Alice everything gets better. We love all the moments that were lived there and recommend this local accommodation to everyone at 100%. We hope to return soon

Great stay , the apartment corresponds to the photographs, having exceeded expectations. Very well equipped kitchen and good rooms . Calm location to be in family and very good for those with children. Good location, with good restaurants nearby. Very friendly host. I recommend the accommodation and will book again when you visit this area of the country again.

It was a great pleasure to spend the last week at Artur’s beautiful home. The house is architecturally designed, which a sophisticated blend of the original rustic stone walls combined with the best quality modern renovations. The setting very peaceful with a gorgeous pool with Baja shelf, a cooking area and loungers. All common areas of the house inside and out feature views of the mountains and surrounding villages. The home is well appointed. The kitchen has all the equipment needed for us to cook delicious Portuguese meals each night. The bedding is good quality and the home was well stocked. The furniture and sofa were good quality. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were hosted by Arthur, and Ana, who is a very friendly local lady that helped us check in. Both of them were proactive to ensure we were happy. My favorite part of the home is the hallway to the bedrooms, with la huge garden window and decorative lighting. Thank you to our hosts, we will be back!

Accommodation to enjoy it at all times, every corner very cared for and with many nice details. Located outside Amarante, in a very quiet area. Unbeatable barbecue and pool area, ideal for spending a few days with the family. The house is not very big, but it is well used and lacks nothing. On the other hand, Paulo's attention is worthy of praise, caring at every moment of our well-being, and counting on the help of wonderful neighbors who made us the stay very pleasant and pleasant. Without a doubt, the quality/price is more than recommended, we would repeat with our eyes closed now that we know Paulo and his surroundings. And another thing, let's discover the green wine of the area, how rich! 🤤😃 Thank you very much for everything, we will come back.

I was in this house with some friends and it was wonderful. The house is superior to the description! The pool and jacuzzi are fantastic! We love the privacy and tranquility of the place, ideal for a vacation with family or friends! Fernanda was impeccable, she even made it easier for us to enter early so we could enjoy it.

Fantastic place in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Amarante area. The owners are very helpful and great communicators also.

It's a little paradise. It was three wonderful days.

I and my daughters feel like we are in the home of Families but of those who care. From the first minute to the last second, indiscreet. You really have to go la because they are people that I thought no longer existed. They are always concerned about others, they make us feel at home rather than on an airbnb. I've been doing it for many years but I've never experienced anything like it. D. Madalen is like a mother to Guests and Mr. Osvaldo Like a Father, A friend. We are eternally grateful and we will return for sure. Believe that what you can write is really little. Carla is also 5*. If you can do this, don't miss out. Our casita was Alambique, it perfectly matched the description, all the comforts in that; the bed is very comfortable; fireplace, toilet and a full bathroom, two TVs...the location is very nice and quiet. Definitely super recommended.

We were a couple with our 18 months old daughter at Casa Fumeiro and it was amazing to walk around the domain , pet the horses and the donkey and swim in the big pool. The house was very clean with every thing we needed and the sound of the water running around the domain makes it even more cathardic.

Amazing place , better facilities than what you really see in the photos, the host is very attentive and very kind, a place to disconnect from the busy world, I'm sure to return

An absolutely magical property in a rural and peaceful setting. The host, Jose os a gentleman and made it all Wry easy. A little off the beaten track but well worth it for what you get. The pool area alone is worth the trip to Porto or Braga if you are also looking to take in the local cities.
