Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Alvor

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We'd come back.

Stephanie was a wonderful host. She was always approached and took care of us during all our entire stay. We felt right at home at her beautiful little house. Raposeira is lovely little village, full of lovely people. Even though it’s quiet and peaceful, it’s surrounded by spectacular sceneries, breathtaking walking trails, and buzzing cities like Lagos. We spent 8 wonderful days in the villa "Casa vista do mar" – a real paradise. You immediately feel comfortable, surrounded by pure nature with breathtaking views. The holiday home is well equipped, nothing is missing. Thanks to Tobias' directions, the journey from Faro airport was easy. Andrea was there to help us and provided us with information about restaurants, shopping and excursion destinations. We were able to unwind wonderfully and recharge our batteries. The tranquility, the view and the loving care made our stay unforgettable. We recommend this holiday home without reservation and already know: We will be back! When searching Airbnb for a place to stay in Portugal, Pedro’s property stood out. From our initial enquiry to the day we left Portugal after our 14 night holiday, Pedro was fantastic, always in contact with helpful information or to answer any questions we had. Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

We had a lovely stay at Angela's apartment in Alvor and couldn't recommend it highly enough! The apartment itself was perfect – clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped,with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Its location was also ideal, making it easy to access everything Alvor has to offer. Angela was also a wonderful host and always at hand with any questions. I look forward to visiting your apartment again.

We’ve just spent a week at the apartment in Praia de Rochas and found it a very comfortable, clean and tastefully furnished space. There are plenty of bars and good restaurants on the door step, plus a decent supermarket around the corner. If you turn left out of the block there is a vast beach with boardwalks to Portimão where you can take a boat trip to caves, which I would recommend. If you turn right out of the block there is a cliff top walk with various beautiful bays which can be accessed by steps. There’s a bustling nightlife at weekends but quieter during the week. Would recommend for a couple or friends. Etelvina was very responsive and she has furnished the apartment beautifully. Thanks.

Great accommodation with swimming pool and beautiful private terrace and lounge, corner!! Oliver was always present and proactively gave excursion tips or recommendations for beautiful beaches. The room was very clean and there was a small welcome. Package with coffee capsules and tea. The place is very quiet. However, at least 30 minutes walk to Luz or Burgau to the beach, supermarket or nice restaurants.

My best friend and I stayed here for four days and really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The place is cuter than the photos. It was a large space and had plenty of room for us to fully unpack and use closet space. It was quiet at night and the window shutters were amazing to keep the bedroom dark. We were a very close walk to the fun town and also the boardwalk/beach. We never had an issue finding free parking on the street. We would stay here again. :)

William was hands down the best host we’ve ever had. He prepared the most thoughtful and warm reception we’ve ever experienced - truly above and beyond. The apartment itself was absolutely incredible: spotless, beautifully designed, and in a perfect location. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. If you’re coming to Lagos, this is the place to stay.

The place and the view from the balcony was very nice. A comprehensive cleaning was offered every day, which surprised us positively. Only the adjacent parking can be quite noisy on weekends as many motorcyclists visit Algar Seco. The surroundings are nice and quiet and yet you have everything in front of the door.

The location was amazing for walking to the beach, having alfresco meals, and Emmanuelle was a wonderful host! So pleased and was a perfect start to our Portugal holiday!

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

Throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Colette’s spacious apartment. It was clean, well equipment and comfortable. Alto club had fantastic facilities and grounds are well kept. Colette is a great host, very helpful and informative. 100% recommend and I would love to return in the future. Ciara.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!
