We had a wonderful holiday in Carvoeiro and the apartment. The location was just right for us and the apartment met all our wishes. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommend! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a perfect beach getaway. You can tell it’s thoughtfully set up by someone who either travels often or stays here themselves.

An amazing stay! So sad to leave! The stylish, homey flat was perfect, peaceful yet close to everything. Ideal for couples: hikes to quiet beaches with stunning blue water, and thoughtful extras like beach towels, bags, bats for the beach, and even a parasol! The flat had everything, check the cupboards before buying anything. We recommend hiring a car, parking’s easy and visiting AEZA to walk rescue dogs (message them on socials FB a few days ahead), the Sagres fortress, then lunch at Fermento food&wine. Our fave food spots in Burgau: SUL (breakfast & romantic dinners), Miam (ceviche, mussels, caipirinhas!), Barraca (shrimp starter and octopus salad), and Corso (coffee & pizza). Lagos is more touristy, but Restaurante dos Artistas was a proper romantic dinner treat. This trip was the perfect mix of rest and adventure away from crowds. The beach was never too busy, and the breeze meant you didn’t always need the parasol. The host thought of every detail. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing place to stay. Our child felt at home here and loved it. The terrace is perfect. Great spot. Easy to find. Parking close by. Nice spots to walk. Great check in. Pedro have great instructions for arrival and was great at communicating if needed! Had great sleep at night you don’t hear any sounds outside! Also place is in between two great spots if you visit sagres and portimao 👍

The apartment is truly perfect. Pictures speak for themselves. Location is also perfect with so many restaurants and the beach nearby and a great grocery store 500 feet away! Pascal was a wonderful host. When you contact him thru Airbnb, a message comes up saying that his typical response time is 10 min which is outstanding. In our experience it was more like 2 minutes! He is so friendly and very helpful. We had 2 minor questions during our stay (no issues!) and Pascal was so quick to help. He definitely has love for this family home and makes you feel like you are welcomed into a family members home. We hope to return some day soon!

Carla’s place is clean, well-kept and it has everything you need for a good vacation. The location is super convenient for exploring Lagos and beyond. The Iberlagos apartment complex has a large pool and a direct access to the beautiful Dona Ana beach and a short walk to Lagos’ old town. So easy, comfortable and practical! Carla is also a very communicative and polite host, and she also gave us excellent tips for restaurants. Thank you!

This is our 3rd time staying in this apartment . We love it ! Great host , great communication, great location . Just another perfect stay and we e already booked again for next year . Thank you xx

Fantastic stay in wonderful, clean modern top floor flat. View is amazing to the city of Faro and Rua Formosa. Large well furnished comfortable balcony with jacuzzi. There is everything you need in the flat: coffee mashing, toaster, kettle, microwave, cooker and oven, large fridge. Very modern bathroom with two types of shower. Water pressure is perfect. There are plenty of towels if you need more. AC in every room. There is iron and ironing board. Also, there is beach towels and parasol. We stayed for 4 days and loved it. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back 😊 Thank you very much Fabio!

Unique, cozy little house with the beach right outside, perfect for a one of a kind vacation. Sagres is the chillest place, surf town with incredible natural beauty and all the essentials. Hosts are lovely. We had a great time.

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

The location of the house is amazing: a few meters from the beach, in a soothing setting. Ideal base for the most beautiful walks in the area along the coast. The house is tastefully decorated and quality materials. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need for a dream stay (impeccable house base, equipped kitchen, bbq, beach towels, etc.) . Stephanie has thought of everything! This home is a perfect beachfront home, but also turns into a soft and warm cocoon thanks to the wood burning stove when the weather is less mild. Stephanie is a perfect host, attentive and always available. Thanks again for everything! Last point: you will find in front of the house 2 delicious restaurants offering amazing grilled fish! It was a dream stay! We leave this house with memories in our heads and we hope to come back soon!

Had an amazing time here and underestimated how good the location is. Easy to jump in and out of the fun of Albufeira and an easy walk to public parking. Marina was super responsive and communicated well. Wish we could stay longer!

Amazing… had me looking up how to buy a home in Lagos.. or at least we will come back to visit!

We had a great stay. The space was very modern and comfortable and in a very walkable location. We took the opportunity to buy a great bottle of wine for under 4 Euros at the grocery store and enjoyed it on the rooftop patio in the early evening! Thanks for a lovely stay. Carol

Elsa’s place made our honeymoon absolutely perfect. Spotless and exactly like the photos. A perfect base for exploring Faro and surrounding areas, lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Felt safe walking around the area, even late at night. Noise not an issue, just the construction that is mentioned in the ad but that didn’t bother us! The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days! Sad to leave, thank you for an amazing holiday!

Location, location, location! This place is walking distance from beautiful beaches, and cafes. The larger grocery in 3 minutes drive. Perfect distance to other attractions. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked on the rooftop many times with the grill. We enjoyed calm morning on the rooftop.

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

An exceptional view, a perfect apartment, plenty of space, easy access to the apartment, the market and the restaurant! It was superb! There was a lot of work in the area which did not bother us but it justifies our evaluation of the neighborhood. Very responsive host!!! We really appreciated his support when needed! Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasia's place. Kasia was extremely helpful with providing us with invaluable information regarding things to do and places to go whilst in Lagos. We would definitely stay there again.

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!
