The suite is connected to my house but has a separate entrance and shared backyard. 10 minute drive from downtown Kona close to shopping centers and 20 minutes from the airport. 2 miles from Safeway and Walmart. Loved our stay on this avocado farm. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a lot of natural sunlight. We enjoyed seeing so much life around us and having fresh avocados and eggs every morning. Kitchen is well equipped. The outdoor shower is a vibe and the whole property is very pretty. 10/10 would recommend.

Our stay at Paula's place in Kona was absolutely perfect! The location was incredibly convenient for exploring, and the place itself was spotlessly clean. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided snacks, the dedicated parking spot, and all the fantastic beach gear – the umbrellas, chairs, and boogie board made our beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The AC was a dream, keeping us cool and comfortable. Everything was just wonderful. Highly recommend!

Ina is a very informative and responsive host. She recommended some great local restaurants and places to hang out. The house is clean and the neighborhood is very peaceful. There is a beautiful view of the beach behind the apartment (2 minutes walk). The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and ingredients. However, we didn't have time to cook. One thing we found annoying was that the AC was portable and a bit noisy.

Lava Lounge is perfect - very clean, cosy, perfectly equipped and very well thought through. Comfy bed, sweet garden, big bathroom. And the amazing cherry on top were lovely Mack and McKaela with all their wonderful recommendations! Should we ever be so lucky to come back to the Big Island, we’d definitely stay here again. Big hearted treasure place to stay on the Big Island. Mahalo!

We read reviews about bugs and a bad smell, however we had no issues with either. Place felt very clean and smelled great, has all the amenities and appliances that we needed. Even had a boogie board in the closet that we could use which was fun! Overall great place, right by tons of restaurants and stores as well as the shoreline.
