Even in autumn and winter! The lake is just a few minutes down the mountain. Here you can take the ferry to Meersburg - and the island of Mainau is also not far away. A beautiful long riverside path or the free, direct bus (approx. 10 min.) leads to the old town.

This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

You can't get any closer to the lake. Directly at the port of Altnau, we rent our residential units on a weekly or long-term basis. Relaxation is guaranteed in this historic building, which was completely renovated in 2023 and is right on the waterfront with various leisure activities in the immediate vicinity. Apartment 4 is ideal for 2 guests. In addition, 2 more people can be placed on the sofa bed 140x190cm.
