It has everything that large cottages have. Entering the cottage will enchant you with the scent of spruce, while you will find it hard to resist the view that opens a new dimension of the forest.

Der Troadkasten ist ein alter Getreidespeicher, ein traditonell gezimmertes Hozhaus, das wir liebevoll zum gemütlichen Chalet umgestaltet haben. Das Häuschen befindet sich direkt auf unserem Bio-Bergbauernhof auf 1100 m Seehöhe und bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Dein Rückzugsort für eine ruhige Auszeit oder Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge im Naturpark Almenland in der Steiermark. Hunde sind gerne willkommen, es laufen Hühner, Katzen und Hofhund Luna frei am Hof herum.

Welcome to our little farm As our guest, you'll sleep with a view of the forest and meadows, relax in the garden sauna, and shower in the cozy cabin. The wood-burning stove keeps the cabin nice and warm. There's plenty of room for culinary creativity: wood-burning stove, induction cooktop, pizza/bread oven, or barbecue. The outhouse is cozy and rustic, and the herb garden is wild. Our kittens occasionally stop by to say a playful hello. A place to slow down and connect with nature.

This house is situated in a quiet and sunny valley, surrounded by the Southeast Styrian hill landscape, Bunschen taverns, producers of culinary delicacies and the most beautiful thermal baths in the country, Bad Gleichenberg and Loipersdorf. The Zotter chocolate factory is a short walk (1 km) from the property. You will be staying right next to an entrance to the popular pleasure hiking trail. The seaside resort of Riegersburg and the castle are within easy reach by bike.

Rural ambiance in Vulcanland

My house is located in the Vulkanland (Route 66 begins about 5 km away, so there are well-known pleasure stops such as the Zotter Chocolate Adventure World, the Fromagerie – Gölles – the manufactory for fine brandy and fine vinegar, the Vulcano ham manufactory near Riegersburg. You'll love my place because of its quiet location, rural atmosphere, and outdoor space. My place is nice for couples. Solo adventurers, families (with kids), groups up to 8 people.

Modernly equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Two bedrooms, large living-dining room, fully equipped kitchen, pine sauna with views. Two bathrooms, two toilets, two sunny terraces with views of the southeastern Styrian hill landscape.

Holiday home Fortmüller

The 70m² big house is located at a bike path and hiking path and it´s the perfect place to enjoy your vacation with up to 5 people. For free time activities there are many cultural and culnary experiences. There is the "Thermal spring Bad Gleichenberg for calming. For the athletics is the horse farm next door the perfect place to ride with fun through the beautiful landscapes of the vulcan-land and to be in harmony with the natur and the animals.

You will find climbing castle, sandbox, parking spaces for bicycles, toys and books. Cycling to the seaside resort or visit the castle. The nearest spa is only 30 minutes away by car and the Zotter Schokoladen Manufaktur can be reached on foot in 20 minutes via the pleasure hiking trail.

We rent out our cottage, built in 1928 and lovingly restored, which is located on our organic farm about 1 km from the idyllic mountain village of Gasen in Styria. Enjoy the quiet, decelerated atmosphere in our vintage cottage, ideal for 2 to maximum 4 people. Pets are welcome! Bed linens, hand towels and dish towels are provided, Wi-Fi, tourist tax, pellets (heating material) and all operating costs are included!
