Lovely vacation apartment near Linz. We live very rurally, but only 9 km from the capital Linz. Our apartment is perfectly located for travelers, families with children (good excursion destinations), cyclists (Danube Cycle Path) and vacationers. With your own Airbnb access to the apartment, privacy is ensured. Local tax to be paid on site: €2.40/day adults. Children up to the age of 15 are free. A lot of emphasis has been placed on child-friendliness.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

The award-winning restaurant Mühltalhof & Fernruf 7, as well as the station Neufelden are within a few minutes walking distance.

Modern apartment 3 - Lembach in the Mühlkreis

The nice, modern 64 sqm apartment for 1-4 people with parking is located in the centre of the small market Lembach in the upper Mühlviertel (Upper Austria) near the border to Germany (about 40 km) between Passau and Linz. Department stores, bakeries, restaurants, …and a doctor are easily accessible. Up to four people are offered clean accommodation in two bedrooms and a modern, well-equipped kitchen.

Small but nice with a view of the Danube

The small room is partly furnished with antiques and is located in the old ship's post office of 1805 opposite the castle, with an interesting museum directly on the Danube. The garden can be used by our guests. Danube bike path leads past the house, in addition to the usual bus connection, there is also the possibility to transfer to Austria by ferry or to drive to Linz or Passau by steamer.
