Cabin in the mountains

The cabin is located about 20 km from Alta city centre with the possibility of seeing Northern Lights, long ski and hiking trips into the wide expanses, or skiing trips in prepared slopes. The cabin is easily accessible from the main road, but is sheltered in the terrain. Arriving with skis or snowshoeing winter time, along the cart road during summer. Nature is characterized by a rich bird and wildlife. The cabin has electricity. There is no running water in the kitchen, but the sink in the kitchen has drains. During summer you can pick up water and wash in the river Sarvesjohka that runs close by.

Welcome to this nice holiday home at Storekorsnes located in the Altafjord. The residence is located approx. 50min drive by car from the center of Alta There are both bus and boat connections. The house is located in quiet surroundings with sea views. Nice area for hiking both summer and winter. The house is perfect for fishing trips, berry picking, hunting trips, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. It's also a nice place if you just want to relax and enjoy the silence, see the midnight sun, or the northern lights.

The cabin lies in this beautiful vally in Øksfjord called Vassdalen. its surrounded by high mountains with many possibilities, in the summer there are many hiking trails of different difficulty and length. You can also fish in the freshwater about 80m from the cabin. In the winter you can start straight from the cabin to climb to high and wild mountains with lots of snow and extreme skiing, or you can walk in a light trail nearby.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It's modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Cabin in slalåmbakken Rafsbotn/Alta

In the winter you can use the slalom hill that is right next door, just put on the slalom skis and start right on the trail or go cross country skiing in scenic surroundings, but it is also a nice and quiet place where you can relax with a good book,TV bonfire outside etc. During summer you can go to the climbing park if it is open. There is plenty of opportunities to walk in mountains and fields, and in the fall there is a great area for picking berries and mushrooms.
